Harvey Bullock (writer)
Harvey Bullock (born June 4, 1921 in Oxford, North Carolina – died April 24, 2006) was an American television and film writer and producer. His work with R.S. Allen included episodes for ''The Andy Griffith Show'', ''Hogan's Heroes'', ''Love, American Style'', and ''Alice'', along with the films ''Who's Minding the Mint?'', ''With Six You Get Eggroll'' and ''Girl Happy''. He graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He served with the US Navy in a special operations unit called "Beach Jumpers" during World War II, writing and transmitting false messages over radio in order to deceive the Nazis. After the war, he served stateside in Hawaii. In 1956, he was married to Betty Jane Folker. Together they had four children: Kerry Scarvie, Diana Bullock, Courtney Bullock and Andy Bullock; and three grandchildren: Sean Bullock, Samantha Scarvie and Andrew Scarvie. Joanna Lee (April 7, 1931 - October 24, 2003) was an American writer, producer, director and actress. Early life Lee was born in Newark, New Jersey. Career As an actress, Lee's career was only in small roles, 10 in all, including seven TV series and three feature films, all between 1956 and 1961. The latter included an uncredited appearance in a lesser-known Frank Sinatra film, ''The Joker Is Wild'' (1957), plus two low-budget science fiction films. Those two were ''The Brain Eaters'' (1958) and a film that in later years would come to be regarded as the quintessential 'so-bad-it's-good' cult classic, '' Plan 9 from Outer Space'' (1959), in which Lee portrays "Tanna" the space girl. Warren Foster (October 24, 1904 – December 13, 1971) was an American writer, cartoonist and composer for the animation division of Warner Brothers and later with Hanna-Barbera. Early life He was born in Brooklyn, New York to Marion B. Foster and Charles C. Foster. Foster was educated at Brooklyn Technical High School and later at the Pratt Institute, joining ASCAP in 1956. Career Foster's long career with animation began in 1935 as a cel opaquer for Fleischer Studios, moving up to the story department a year later.
