Telugu Language
Telugu (; , ) is a Dravidian language spoken by Telugu people predominantly living in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where it is also the official language. It is the most widely spoken member of the Dravidian language family and one of the twenty-two scheduled languages of the Republic of India. It is one of the few languages that has primary official status in more than one Indian state, alongside Hindi and Bengali. ''Dabbevariki Chedu'' () is a 1987 Telugu language, Telugu-language comedy film, produced by S. Ramalingaraju under the Tarakanama Movies banner and directed by Relangi Narasimha Rao. It stars Rajendra Prasad (actor), Rajendra Prasad, Chandra Mohan (Telugu actor), Chandra Mohan and Seetha (actress), Seetha, with music composed by Saluri Vasu Rao. It was released on 1 January 1987. ''Majnu'' is a 1987 Indian Telugu-language romantic tragedy film produced, written and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars Nagarjuna and Rajani, with music composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal. The film released on 14 January 1987 alongside Sobhan Babu's ''Punnami Chandrudu'', Balakrishna's '' Bhargava Ramudu'' and Krishna's ''Thandri Kodukula Challenge'' was recorded as a ''Blockbuster'' at the box office outperforming the other films. Sumalatha
Sumalatha (born 27 August 1963) is an Indian actress, politician who is the current Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from Mandya, Karnataka. She has acted in more than 220 films in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi. She gained popularity in Telugu cinema and Malayalam cinema and later married Kannada actor-politician Ambareesh and has a son Abhishek Gowda. Udaya Chandrika, better known by her screen/stage name Radha (born 3 June 1965), is an Indian actress, who predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu films in addition to a few Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. She was one of the top heroine in the film industry for about a decade; from 1981 to 1991 (dominating the 80s era). Her elder sister Ambika, was also an actress. Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy (31 May 1943 – 15 November 2022), known mononymously as Krishna, was an Indian actor, director and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. In a film career spanning five decades, he starred in more than 350 films in a variety of roles. He is referred to as "Superstar" in the Telugu states, Telugu media. In 2009, the government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Cinema of India, Indian cinema. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Indian National Congress, Congress party in 1989. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South in addition to Honorary doctorate from Andhra University in 2008. He died on 15 November 2022 due to cardiac arrest. ''Thandri Kodukula Challenge'' is an Indian Telugu film released on 14 January 1987 starring Krishna, Radha, Sumalatha and Kaikala Satyanarayana in the main roles with a musical score by K. Chakravarthy. The film directed by M. Mallikarjuna Rao was produced by M. V. Rama Rao and A. Ramdas for Vijaya Padmalaya Pictures. With its release coinciding with the Sankranti festival, the film turned out to be a ''Superhit'' at the box office despite facing competition from other releases — Majnu, Bhargava Ramudu and Punnami Chandrudu. Kanaka Vijayalakshmi, known by her stage name Madhavi is an Indian actress known for her works in Malayalam,Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada films.
