This is a list of Taça de Portugal winning football managers. Albano Paulo led Associação Académica de Coimbra – O.A.F., Académica to victory in the 1939 Taça de Portugal Final, inaugural final of the contest. Otto Glória and José Maria Pedroto have won the tournament on four occasions while János Biri and Fernando Vaz guided their teams to the trophy on three occasions. Otto Glória was the first manager to have won the competition with two different clubs, a feat later achieved by Fernando Vaz, José Maria Pedroto, Jimmy Hagan and Rui Vitória. Jimmy Hagan (1972)
James Hagan (21 January 1918 – 26 February 1998) was an English football player and manager. He played between 1938 and 1958 for Sheffield United and once for England. As manager he had his greatest successes with S.L. Benfica in the early 1970s. Playing career Hagan was born in Washington, County Durham, England. Following in the footsteps of his father, Alfie, a former Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Tranmere player, Hagan represented England at schoolboy level and after spells with Washington Colliery and Usworth Colliery; he joined the groundstaff of Liverpool before leaving for Derby County at fifteen years of age. He stayed at the Baseball Ground until the age of twenty when United's manager Teddy Davison met his Derby counterpart George Jobey and haggled over the £3,000 asking price, eventually agreeing to pay £2,925. Sérgio Paulo Marceneiro da Conceição (; born 15 November 1974) is a Portuguese professional football manager and former player who mostly played as a right winger. He is the current manager of Porto. Throughout his career, he played for ten teams in five countries. After gaining international recognition with Porto he switched to Italy, where he appeared for three clubs, winning domestic and European honours at Lazio. Pedro Emanuel dos Santos Martins Silva (born 11 February 1975), known as Pedro Emanuel, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played mainly as a central defender, currently manager of Saudi Arabian club Khaleej FC. In his 16-year professional career he was closely associated with the two biggest teams in Porto, Boavista – he helped it win its first and only Primeira Liga title in 2001 – and FC Porto, being team captain of both. António Augusto Gomes de Sousa (; born 28 April 1957) is a Portuguese former football central midfielder and manager. During his career he played, among others, for Porto and Sporting, amassing Primeira Liga totals of 483 matches and 83 goals over 18 seasons. Subsequently, he worked as a manager for several clubs. António José da Conceição Oliveira (born 14 October 1946), known as Toni (), is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a midfielder, and a coach. A Portugal international on more than 30 occasions, his career was mainly associated with Benfica. He totalled 22 major honours with his main club as both a player and manager, and also worked in the latter capacity in six other countries. Artur Jorge (footballer, Born 1946)
Artur Jorge Braga Melo Teixeira (born 13 February 1946), commonly known as Artur Jorge, is a Portuguese football manager and former player, who played as a forward. Club career As a junior player, Artur Jorge started at the junior team of FC Porto. As professional player, he played for Académica de Coimbra and Benfica, before ending his career at Belenenses in the 1977–78 season, due to a serious injury suffered at a training session in the Estádio Nacional where he broke a leg.
