Bob Morane
''Bob Morane'' is a series of adventure books in French, featuring an eponymous protagonist, created by French-speaking Belgian novelist Henri Vernes, the pseudonym of Charles-Henri Dewisme. More than 200 novels have been written since his introduction in 1953, the iconic covers illustrated by artists such as Pierre Joubert, Henri Lievens, William Vance, Claude Pascal, Antonio Parras, Patrice Sanahujas, Felicísimo Coria and René Follet. ''Cubitus'' is a Franco-Belgian comics series, and the basis for the ''Wowser'' cartoon series appearing in the United States. ''Cubitus'' was created by the Belgian cartoonist Dupa, and features Cubitus, a large Anthropomorphism, anthropomorphic dog, who lives with his owner Semaphore. Cubitus is known as ''Dommel'' in Flanders and the Netherlands, ''Muppelo'' or ''Pom Pom'' in Finland, ''Teodoro'' in Italy and Доммель in Russia. His name derives from the old anatomical name of the ulna bone, supposedly derived from the Greek ''kybiton'' (elbow). Synopsis The series tells the story of Cubitus, a good-natured large, white dog endowed with speech. ''Journey to the Heart of the World'' (french: Les Voyages de Corentin) is an animated series that ran from September 6, 1993 to 1994. It was based on the Franco-Belgian comic strip ''Corentin (comics), Corentin''. Ownership of the series passed to Disney in 2001 when Disney acquired Fox Kids Worldwide, which also includes Saban Entertainment. Plot The series follows the travels of the best sailor in the world Cory Feldoe, who crossed the world far and wide in search of new lands, friends, and experiences. Cory's father was a sailor as well and died of mysterious circumstances. Cory never came to terms with his father's death. He continued in search of him. Corentin (comics)
''Corentin'' is a series of comics created by Belgian artist Paul Cuvelier (1923-1978). Influenced by Robinson Crusoe, Cuvelier created the character of ''Corentin Feldoë'' in 1943. The character first appeared in a series of watercolors that Cuvelier made for his own family. Hergé, convinced of the merit of these watercolors, commissioned Cuvelier to do a series of comic strips. Thus, ''Corentin'' first made its appearance in ''Tintin'' magazine on September 26, 1946. The final story was published in 1974, four years before Cuvelier's death. Story At the end of the 18th century, Corentin Feldoë, an orphan of Breton origin, decides to flee the house of his uncle, an inveterate drunkard who has been abusing him. Corentin runs off to sea, only to be shipwrecked onto a desert island. Chlorophylle
Chlorophylle was a Belgian comics series and Raymond Macherot's best known work, alongside '' Sibylline''. It is a fantasy comic about anthropomorphic forest animals, including the title character Chlorophylle, who is a dormouse. Description Chlorophylle is set in a European forest, more specifically in the animal kingdom of Coquefredouille. It's a world in itself and a mini anthropomorphic version of human society. All albums center around Chlorophylle, a dormouse who often has to solve problems and opponents who are much bigger than himself. The stories were originally set in a realistic natural environment, but after 1963 Macherot changed it to a more humanized animal world. Cédric is a Franco-Belgian comics series written by Raoul Cauvin, illustrated by :fr:Laudec, Laudec, and published by Dupuis. The comic is about the adventures of a young rascal, including his family and his school life. Cédric is a hero close to the hearts of all children, funny yet tender at the same time. Carland Cross (character)
Carland Cross is a fictional character and the protagonist in the series of the same name. Created by Belgian author and illustrator Michel Oleffe and Olivier Grenson in late 1989, he made his first comic book appearance in 1990. He also went on to appear in a total of eight novels. His first fantasy story, ''Le Golem'', was later followed by further comic book publications.
