Beyond The Realm Of Conscience
''Beyond the Realm of Conscience'' is a 2009 Hong Kong television series. Produced by Mui Siu-ching, the serial is one of two TVB productions to celebrate along with the channel's 42nd anniversary, the other being '' Born Rich''. The drama aired five days a week on the TVB network with 45-minute episodes starting 19 October 2009. It stars Charmaine Sheh, Tavia Yeung, Moses Chan and Kevin Cheng as the main leads. Set in the latter years of the Tang dynasty, ''Beyond the Realm of Conscience'' tells the story of palace maid Lau Sam-ho and her relations in the Imperial Palace, beginning with her experiences in the Imperial Household Bureau (尚宮局). The series title roughly means "Plots in the Palace" and is a play on the phrase (攻心計), a homonym which roughly means "Plots that target and attack the heart". Michael Tse
Michael Tse Tin-wah (born 15 July 1967) is a Hong Kong actor and singer. Background Michael Tse graduated from TVB's Dance Training Class and worked with TVB as a dancer for five years. He then left TVB and formed a boy band group called 風火海 (Wind Fire Sea) with Jordan Chan and Jason Chu. Two CDs were then released in 1994 and 1995 accordingly by the boy band group. In 1996's ''Young and Dangerous''(古惑仔), Tse acted as a character called "Tai Tin Yee" in the triad genre. The film was a huge success, which led to nine sequels and spinoffs before the series concluded in 2000. The boy band group was dismissed later then. Tse participated Hong Kong's first modern musical ''Snow.Wolf.Lake'' ''(雪狼湖)'' in 1997. Joyce Cheng
Joyce Cheng Yan-yee (born 30 May 1987) is a Hong Kong Canadian singer and actress based in Hong Kong. She is the daughter of late Hong Kong comedian Lydia Shum and singer/actor Adam Cheng. Career Cheng is of Sze Yup ancestry through her father's side and Shanghainese through her mother's side. She has been the focus of a variety of media articles due to her struggles with her weight. At a young age, she was 226.5 lbs. Determined to overcome her weight issues, Cheng started a strict fitness regimen at the age of 16. Stephen Au Kam-tong (born 26 April 1963) is a Hong Kong actor for TVB (2000–present). He was formerly an actor for ATV (1990–2000). ''Off Pedder'' (Traditional Chinese: 畢打自己人) is a TVB modern drama series broadcast since October 2008 and ended on 12 February 2010. The sitcom is about office politics in a magazine company, as well as family and romantic relationships amongst the characters, with the majority of the cast from ''Best Selling Secrets''. Aimee Chan (born 1 April 1981) or Chan Yan-mei (Traditional Chinese: 陳茵媺) is a Canadian born actress based in Hong Kong. She was the winner of Miss Hong Kong 2006 and was offered a TVB contract shortly after. Biography Aimee was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her parents were immigrants from Hong Kong.
