The National Guard Forces Command of the Russian Federation (Russian: Войска национальной гвардии Российской Федерации, ''Voyska Natsionalnoy Gvardii Rossiyskoi Federatsii'') is the gendarmerie component of the National Guard of Russia, created through a presidential decree on April 5, 2016. The Russian Hydrographic Service, full current official name Department of Navigation and Oceanography of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation ( rus, Управление навигации и океанографии Министерства обороны Российской Федерации), is Russia's hydrographic office, with responsibility to facilitate navigation, performing hydrographic surveys and publishing nautical charts.
