Fudbalski klub Crvena zvezda is a Serbian professional association football club based in Belgrade, Serbia, who currently play in the Serbian SuperLiga. They have played at their current home ground, Red Star Stadium, since 1963. In Crvena zvezda's history, 43 coaches have coached the club. The first manager was Branislav Sekulić and the current manager is Miloš Milojević, who was appointed on 21 August 2022. Miljan Miljanić (1971)
Miljan Miljanić ( sr-Cyrl, Миљан Миљанић; 4 May 1930 – 13 January 2012) was a Yugoslav and Serbian football administrator, coach and player who played as a defender. Born in Bitola, Vardar Banovina, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, to a family originating from the Banjani clan in the Nikšić municipality in Montenegro, Miljanić spent the first years of his life in what would later become SR Macedonia within SFR Yugoslavia and eventually present day North Macedonia. During his colourful career, Miljanić coached Red Star Belgrade (won 10 trophies), Real Madrid (won back-to-back La Liga titles, including a League/Cup double in the 1974–75 season), Valencia CF (disappointing stint that lasted three quarters of the 1982–83 season when he got sacked with the team in 17th place in the league), and the Yugoslavia national team, of which he was a head coach in the 1974 and 1982 World Cups. Ivan Toplak
Ivan Toplak (Serbian Cyrillic: Иван Toплaк; 21 September 1931 – 25 July 2021) was a Serbian football player and manager. Toplak played for NK Olimpija Ljubljana and Red Star Belgrade, with whom he had much success. As a player he also represented the Yugoslavia national team. As a manager he also managed Red Star, had a managing period in the United States, managed almost all levels of the Yugoslavia national team and also managed the Indonesia national team. At the 1984 Summer Olympics, he guided Yugoslavia to a bronze medal. Club career Toplak started his career at NK Branik Maribor in Maribor, where his family moved in 1943 from Belgrade. In 1951, he signed with NK Olimpija Ljubljana, where he spent playing the next three years. With Olimpija, he won the Slovenian Republic League in 1952. Vojin Lazarević
Vojin Lazarević (Cyrillic: Војин Лазаревић; born 22 February 1942) is a Yugoslav former football manager and player. Club career A prolific striker, Lazarević started out at his hometown club Sutjeska Nikšić. He was the Yugoslav Second League (Group East) top scorer on three occasions, before moving to Red Star Belgrade in 1966. Over the next four seasons, Lazarević scored 70 goals in 112 appearances in the Yugoslav First League, helping the club win three consecutive championships (1968, 1969, and 1970). He subsequently moved abroad and played for RFC Liège (Belgium) and Nancy (France), before returning to Red Star Belgrade in 1972. In the 1972–73 season, Lazarević was the league's joint top scorer with 25 goals, as the club won the title. He moved abroad again in 1974, this time to Canada, and joined the Toronto Metros. 1996–97 First League Of FR Yugoslavia
The 1996–97 First League of FR Yugoslavia was the fifth season of the FR Yugoslavia's top-level football league since its establishment. Overview For the fourth season in a raw that the league was divided in 2 groups, A and B, consisting each of 10 clubs. Both groups were played in league system. By winter break all clubs in each group meet each other twice, home and away, with the bottom four classified from A group moving to the group B, and being replaced by the top four from the B group. At the end of the season the same situation happened with four teams being replaced from A and B groups, adding the fact that the bottom three clubs from the B group were relegated into the Second League of FR Yugoslavia for the next season and replaced by the top three from that league. Vladimir Petrović
Vladimir Petrović ( sr-Cyrl, Владимир Петровић, ; born 1 July 1955) is a Serbian football manager and former player. He is widely known domestically by his nickname Pižon ( sr, Пижон), after the French for ''pigeon''. Club career During his playing career, he mostly played for Red Star Belgrade and is one of the five Zvezdine zvezde (The Stars of Red Star) — the legends of the club. He started out at Red Star making his debut in 1971, at the age of 16. With the team, he won four Yugoslav League Championship titles, one Yugoslav Cup and reached the final of the 1979 UEFA Cup Final, losing to Borussia Mönchengladbach. Milan Živadinović
Milan Živadinović ( sr-cyr, Милан Живадиновић, ; 15 December 1944 – 17 July 2021) was a Serbian football player and coach. He was also the scout for Ghanaian footballers for Southeast Europe. In his homeland he was nicknamed Bard. Career Early in his coaching career, Živadinović was a student of Hugo Ruševljanin under whose guidance he plied his trade. Throughout his career, he advocated that a 2–0 lead is the worst lead. His last appointment was as the head coach of Myanmar in 2011. Death Živadinović died on 17 July 2021 at the age of 76. Vladica Popović
Vladimir "Vladica" Popović (; 17 March 1935 – 10 August 2020) was a Serbian professional footballer and manager. The biggest success in his coaching career was winning the Intercontinental Cup with Red Star Belgrade in 1991. Born in Zemun, Popović started playing at local side Jedinstvo but his talent was spotted while he was still very young and giants Red Star Belgrade brought him to their youth team where he will later play for more than a decade becoming team captain and also regular member of the Yugoslav national team. Ljubomir "Ljupko" Petrović ( sr-Cyrl, Љубомир "Љупко" Петровић; born 15 May 1947) is a Serbian professional football manager and former player. He also holds a Bosnian passport. As a manager, Petrović's biggest success was winning the European Cup in the 1990–91 season with Red Star Belgrade. Dragoslav Šekularac ( sr-Cyrl, Драгослав Шекуларац, ; 8 November 1937 – 5 January 2019) was a Serbian professional footballer and coach. Nicknamed Šeki, he was quick and crafty with the ball, displaying creative skills which turned many heads. Possessing supreme self-confidence along with impeccable technical ability, he was one of the biggest showmen and crowd draws in the history of Yugoslav football. Stevan Ostojić (Serbian Cyrillic: Стеван Остојић; 20 August 1941 – 15 May 2022) was a Serbian professional footballer who played as a striker. Born just a few months following the start of World War II in Yugoslavia to father Spasoje who worked as a railroad engineer, young Ostojić grew up in Subotica where the family moved during the war.
