Project M (video Game)
''Project M'' is a mod of the 2008 fighting game '' Super Smash Bros. Brawl'' for the Wii, created by the community group known as the Project M Development Team (PMDT; previously known as the Project M Back Room). It is designed to retool ''Brawl'' to play more like its two predecessors, ''Super Smash Bros.'' (1999) and ''Super Smash Bros. Melee'' (2001), in response to fan objections to ''Brawl''s physics, slower-paced gameplay, larger use of chance elements, and mechanics of certain attacks. ''Project M'' reintroduces the characters Dr. Mario (although as a palette swap of Mario), Mewtwo, and Roy, who were present in ''Melee'' but were cut from ''Brawl'' to make space for Lucario and Ike. Romulus, Michigan
Romulus is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 23,989 at the 2010 census. Romulus is a western suburb of Metro Detroit and is also considered part of the Downriver collection of communities. Gurnee ( ) is a village in Lake County, Illinois, United States. Its population was 30,706 as of the 2020 census. Hvitfeldtska Gymnasiet, the "Hvitfeldtska High School" ( gymnasium), is in central Gothenburg, Sweden. The school was founded in 1647 by Queen Kristina and is the largest in Gothenburg. The Big House is an annual ''Super Smash Bros.'' tournament series held in Michigan since 2011. It is considered one of the largest and most prestigious ''Smash Bros.'' tournament series alongside Genesis (tournament), GENESIS, Evolution Championship Series (EVO) and Super Smash Con. History 2011–2014 The first Big House tournament was held on October 22, 2011, on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 115 entrants participated in ''Super Smash Bros. Apex was an annual esports tournament held in New Jersey that was focused on ''Super Smash Bros.'' The event's first incarnation was in 2009 with Jesus "Jman" Fernandez as the champion of ''Super Smash Bros. Melee'' and Elliot "Ally" Carroza-Oyarce as champion of '' Super Smash Bros. Brawl''. Each year the event grew with more competitors entering. Apex 2014 garnered 629 entrants and was the 2nd largest tournament for ''Melee'' at the time after EVO 2013. Though the tournament initially focused on ''Brawl'', the feature game has since switched to ''Melee'' due to its popularity. In 2010, an event for ''Super Smash Bros.'' for the Nintendo 64 was added. In 2014, the fan modification of ''Brawl'', '' Project M'' was added for singles only.
