Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. Philippines–Australia Basketball Brawl
The Philippines–Australia basketball brawl occurred between players of the Philippine and Australian men's national basketball teams during a match held on 2 July 2018 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan, Philippines. The match was part of the International Basketball Federation's (FIBA) 2019 Basketball World Cup Asian qualification process. The brawl during the third quarter caused a delay of more than thirty minutes, resulting in the ejection of four Australian players and nine Filipino players. The game was resumed briefly before two of the three remaining Filipino players intentionally fouled out, meaning the Philippines lost by default. FIBA imposed sanctions on both sides. Aldin Ayo
Aldin Valladolid Ayo (born October 15, 1977) is a Filipino basketball coach and politician who currently serves as head coach for the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He formerly played (in late 90s) and coached his alma mater Letran Knights. High school career Ayo, a native of Sorsogon City, graduated from Colegio De La Milagrosa in elementary and finished his high school education at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Seminary in 1994.
