American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. The offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped football, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or passing it, while the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense's advance and to take control of the ball for themselves. The offense must advance at least ten yards in four downs or plays; if they fail, they turn over the football to the defense, but if they succeed, they are given a new set of four downs to continue the drive. Points are scored primarily by advancing the ball into the opposing team's end zone for a touchdown or kicking the ball through the opponent's goalposts for a field goal. Seyi Ajirotutu
Oluseyi Ajirotutu (born June 12, 1987) is a former American football wide receiver and special teamer. He was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played college football at Fresno State. He is of Nigerian origin. Ajirotutu has also played for the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles. Early years Ajirotutu attended Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, California from 2001 to 2005. As a junior, Ajirotutu was selected to the First-Team All-League as a defensive back after making 70 tackles and picking off five passes. As a senior during the 2004-2005 season, he caught 77 passes for 1,205 yards and 17 touchdowns, leading all divisions in the Sac-Joaquin section. Kiko Alonso
Kristian "Kiko" Alonso (born August 14, 1990) is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. After a stellar rookie season with the Bills, Alonso missed his second season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament and was then traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for halfback LeSean McCoy. Following an inconsistent season with the Eagles, he was traded to the Miami Dolphins, becoming entrenched as a starter for three years before being traded again to the Saints. Nathaniel Ray Allen (born November 30, 1987) is a former American football safety. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Eric Andre Allen (born November 22, 1965) is an American football coach and former cornerback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, and Oakland Raiders from 1988 to 2001. Charles Richard Allen (September 7, 1939 – December 14, 2016) was an American professional football player. He was a linebacker who played in the American Football League (AFL) with the San Diego Chargers, and later the National Football League (NFL) with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles.
