Maryam Tanveer Ali known by her stage name Maya Ali (born ), is a Pakistanis, Pakistani actress. She made her debut with a brief role in the telenovela ''Durr-e-Shehwar'' and later received praise for portraying the titular characters in ''Aik Nayee Cinderella'' and ''Aun Zara'' both (2012). Ali got her breakthrough by starring as Manahil Javed in Hum TV's romance ''Mann Mayal''. In 2018 she made her film debut with ''Teefa in Trouble''. Sabira Begum better known as Asha Posley ( Punjabi, ur, ) (1927 – 25 March 1998) was the first heroine of Pakistani films. Early life Asha Posley was born as Sabira Begum in Patiala, Punjab, British India in 1927. Asha Posley was the daughter of music composer Inayat Ali Nath, who worked with HMV in Delhi, and the sister of renowned film playback singer Kausar Parveen and another sister Rani Kiran. Career She made her debut as a supporting actress in Lahore-made Punjabi film ''Gawandi (1942)'', then the lead role in Hindi film ''Champa'' (1945), filmed in British India. Bushra Farrukh ( ur, بشری فارخ; born 16 February 1957), is a Pakistani poet. She was born in Peshawar. She is one of the female Urdu poets of Pakistan. She has served Pakistan Television and Radio Pakistan as an announcer. Begum Khurshid Mirza (Urdu: بیگم خورشید مرزا ), also known by her screen name as Renuka Devi (1918 – 1989), was a Pakistani television actress and a film actress in the pre-partition era. Early life, Family and Education Begum Khurshid Mirza was born as ''Khurshid Jehan'' on 4 March 1918 in Aligarh to Sheikh Abdullah and Waheed Jahan Begum, the founders of Women's College, Aligarh. Her father was a practising lawyer and philanthropist who was keen to bring education and enlightenment to Muslim women. Her elder sister Rashid Jahan was a prominent Urdu language writer and one of the founding members of the Progressive Writers' Movement. Bahar Begum (born Kishwar Begum; ) is an actress best known for many Pakistani movies since 1956. She was first introduced to the Pakistani film industry by the renowned film director Anwar Kamal Pasha in film Chann Mahi (1956). Anwar Kamal Pasha is the one that gave her the professional film world name Bahar Begum.
