Ion Cernea (born 21 October 1933) is a retired bantamweight Greco-Roman wrestler from Romania. Between 1960 and 1965 he earned two Olympic and two world championship medals, winning the world title in 1965. He retired the same year to become a wrestling coach and international referee, and was present in this capacity at all major international wrestling competitions between 1972 and 1988. Edvin Vesterby (born 23 October 1927) is a retired Swedish bantamweight wrestler. He competed at the 1952, 1956 and 1960 in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling and won a Greco-Roman silver medal in 1956. He finished fourth in the freestyle in 1952 and in the Greco-Roman wrestling in 1960. He was born in Riguldi Parish (now Noarootsi Parish), Lääne County, Estonia into a Swedish-speaking family. Artyom Sarkisovich Teryan (russian: Артём Саркисович Терян, 5 March 1930 – April 1970) was a Soviet Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler. He was an Olympic medalist and world champion. Biography Teryan was born in Azerbaijan to an Armenian family from the village Banants and lost his father in World War II. He took up wrestling in 1945, first the Armenian Kokh, and then classical wrestling. His first coach was Andrew Danielian. After graduating from school Teryan moved to Baku to study at the Baku Institute of Physical Education. He won the Soviet championships in Greco-Roman wrestling from 1950 to 1954, and since 1952 competed internationally, winning a bronze medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki in the bantamweight category (57 kg).
