2022 Eliteserien
The 2022 Eliteserien will be the 78th season of top-tier football in Norway. This will be the sixth season of Eliteserien after rebranding from Tippeligaen. The season is scheduled to begin on 2 April 2022 and end on 13 November 2022, not including play-off matches. Bodø/Glimt are the defending champions. HamKam, Aalesund and Jerv joined as the promoted clubs from the 2021 Norwegian First Division. They replaced Brann, Stabæk and Mjøndalen who were relegated to the 2022 Norwegian First Division. Teams Sixteen teams compete in the league – the top thirteen teams from the previous season, and three teams promoted from the First Division. The promoted teams were HamKam (returning to the top flight after a thirteen season absence), Aalesund (returning to the top flight after a one season absence) and Jerv (first season in the top flight). Mamadou Diaw
Mamadou Diaw (born 2 January 2001) is a Senegalese professional football midfielder who plays for Bryne on loan from Aalesund. He travelled to Ålesund in the early spring of 2020 for a two or three week trial at Aalesunds FK. The subsequent COVID-19-related lockdown closed the opportunity for Diaw to return to Senegal. He was accepted as a student at Ålesund Folk High School and continued training. Aalesund eventually desired to sign him, and finally cleared the paperwork in October 2020. Marius Lode
Marius Lode (born 11 March 1993) is Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bodø/Glimt. Club career Lode was born in Kvernaland, and started his career in local Frøyland IL. His grandfather comes from Germany. He made his senior debut for Bryne FK on 9 April 2012 against Strømmen; Bryne won that match 3–1. He played as a defender for Bryne until May 2015, when he was banned from playing professional football, due to a positive drug test, that showed use of Ritalin, a medicinal stimulant drug consisting of methylphenidate. Lode tested positive on Ritalin in May 2015, before a match against Sogndal. He stated he had used Ritalin as performance-enhancing drug before university exams. Lode was banned from playing football in ten months and lost most of the 2016 season. Albert Grønbæk
Albert Grønbæk Erlykke (born 23 May 2001) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt. Career Grønbæk started his career in local club Vejlby-Risskov Idrætsklub before transferring to AGF in 2015 on a youth contract. Grønbæk made his debut for AGF in July 2020, when he came on in the 71st minute in a 3–2 win against AaB. Ahead of the 2020–21 Danish Superliga, Grønbæk was officially moved in to the AGF first team. In September 2020, he scored his first goal for the club in a 4–2 win against OB. Rosenborg Ballklub, commonly referred to simply as Rosenborg () or RBK, is a Norwegian professional association football, football club from Trondheim that plays in Eliteserien (football), Eliteserien. Julian Rekdahl Faye Lund (born 20 May 1999) is a Norwegian football goalkeeper who plays for Bodø/Glimt.
