The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (french: Société Radio-Canada), branded as CBC/Radio-Canada, is a Canadian public broadcaster for both radio and television. ''Bottoms'' is a 2023 American teen sex comedy film directed by Emma Seligman from a screenplay she co-wrote with Rachel Sennott, who also stars opposite Ayo Edebiri. The film is produced by Elizabeth Banks under her Brownstone Productions banner. It follows two high school senior girls (Sennott and Edebiri) who set up a fight club as a guise to hook up with cheerleaders. Emma Seligman
Emma Seligman (born May 3, 1995) is a Canadian film director and screenwriter, best known for their feature directorial debut '' Shiva Baby'' (2020). Career As a teenager, Emma Seligman contributed film reviews to ''The Huffington Post''. They studied film at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in May 2017, and is based in New York City. While at NYU they made short films including ''Lonewoods'' and 2018's ''Void'' and ''Shiva Baby''. Her thesis film, ''Shiva Baby'' went to the 2018 South by Southwest film festival. At the same time, they began developing it into a feature film, the 2020 release '' Shiva Baby''. CP24 is a Canadian English-language specialty news channel owned by Bell Media, a subsidiary of BCE Inc. and operated alongside the Bell-owned CTV Television Network's owned-and-operated television stations CFTO-DT (CTV Toronto) and CKVR-DT (CTV 2 Barrie). The channel broadcasts from 299 Queen Street West in Downtown Toronto. It was first originally launched on March 30, 1998, under the name CablePulse24 by its owners CHUM Limited and Sun Media. The channel was named as an extension of CITY-TV (Citytv Toronto)'s newscasts, which were then known as ''CityPulse''. Ann Margaret Rohmer (born March 2, 1958) is a Canadian television personality known for her work on Citytv and CP24 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Early life and career Rohmer's father is Richard Rohmer, an officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force. She grew up in Don Mills. Rohmer was trained by top figure skating coach Sheldon Galbraith, Rohmer competed at the provincial level until she was involved in a car accident at the age of 14. Although this ended her skating career, it has not stopped her from playing tennis, being an aerobics instructor and avidly participating in both water and downhill skiing. She attended Branksome Hall before transferring to Northern Secondary School in her final year of high school, graduating in 1974. Ted Nasmith (born 1956) is a Canadians, Canadian artist, illustrator and architectural rendering, architectural renderer. He is best known as an illustrator of J. R. R. Tolkien's works ''The Hobbit'', ''The Lord of the Rings'' and ''The Silmarillion''. Biography Nasmith was born in Goderich, Ontario, Canada. ''Dan for Mayor'' is a Canadian television sitcom starring Fred Ewanuick that debuted on March 1, 2010 on CTV and The Comedy Network.
