''Bottoms'' is a 2023 American teen sex comedy film directed by Emma Seligman from a screenplay she co-wrote with Rachel Sennott, who also stars opposite Ayo Edebiri. The film is produced by Elizabeth Banks under her Brownstone Productions banner. It follows two high school senior girls (Sennott and Edebiri) who set up a fight club as a guise to hook up with cheerleaders. Emma Seligman
Emma Seligman (born May 3, 1995) is a Canadian film director and screenwriter, best known for their feature directorial debut '' Shiva Baby'' (2020). Career As a teenager, Emma Seligman contributed film reviews to ''The Huffington Post''. They studied film at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in May 2017, and is based in New York City. While at NYU they made short films including ''Lonewoods'' and 2018's ''Void'' and ''Shiva Baby''. Her thesis film, ''Shiva Baby'' went to the 2018 South by Southwest film festival. Ann Margaret Rohmer (born March 2, 1958) is a Canadian television personality known for her work on Citytv and CP24 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Early life and career Rohmer's father is Richard Rohmer, an officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force. She grew up in Don Mills. Rohmer was trained by top figure skating coach Sheldon Galbraith, Rohmer competed at the provincial level until she was involved in a car accident at the age of 14. Although this ended her skating career, it has not stopped her from playing tennis, being an aerobics instructor and avidly participating in both water and downhill skiing.
