The list of operational stations of Namma Metro ('' en, Our metro''), also known as Bangalore Metro (rapid transit system serving the city of Bangalore in India) is as per table below. Out of the operational 52 metro stations of Namma Metro as of November 2022, there are 43 elevated stations, 8 underground stations and 1 at-grade station. The first section (on Purple Line) of the Namma Metro system opened on 20 October 2011 between Baiyappanahalli and M.G Road. The system is operated by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). Each line of Namma Metro is identified by a specific colour. The system uses rolling stock of standard gauge and has a combination of elevated, underground and at-grade lines. Namma Metro
Namma Metro ("Our Metro" in Kannada), also known as Bengaluru Metro, is a rapid transit system serving the city of Bengaluru, India. Upon its inauguration, it became the first underground metro system in South India. Namma Metro has a mix of underground, at grade, and elevated stations. Sampige Road Metro Station
Sampige Road, officially named Mantri Square Sampige Road, is a metro station on the Green Line (Namma Metro), Green Line of the Namma Metro serving the Malleswaram area of Bangalore, India. It was opened to the public on 1 March 2014. The station was constructed by Mantri Developers and consists of two basements, one ground and one upper floor. The station was named Mantri Square Sampige Road due to a PPP agreement between the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) and Mantri. Mantri Square is a shopping mall located near the station. The station area covers around 80,000 sq feet. A bridge connecting the station to the first floor of the mall was inaugurated on 20 August 2014. Mahatma Gandhi Road, commonly referred to by the abbreviation MG Road, is a station on the Purple Line of the Namma Metro in Bangalore, India. It was constructed by Punj Lloyd and opened to the public on 20 October 2011. The station MG Road has a bicycle stand next to the Urban Square, from where commuters can rent cycles. Green Line (Namma Metro)
Green Line of Namma Metro was built along with the Purple Line during the first phase of construction of the metro rail system for the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The 30.5 km line connects Nagasandra in the northwest to Silk Institute in the south. The Purple Line is a part of the Namma Metro metro rail system for the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As of 2021, the line is 25.7 km and spans 23 stations from Kengeri in the southwest to Baiyappanahalli to the east. The Purple Line is mostly elevated, with 17 elevated stations, 5 underground stations and 1 at-grade station.
