Maluku Islands
The Maluku Islands (; Indonesian: ''Kepulauan Maluku'') or the Moluccas () are an archipelago in the east of Indonesia. Tectonically they are located on the Halmahera Plate within the Molucca Sea Collision Zone. Geographically they are located east of Sulawesi, west of New Guinea, and north and east of Timor. Lying within Wallacea (mostly east of the biogeographical Weber Line), the Maluku Islands have been considered as a geographical and cultural intersection of Asia and Oceania. The islands were known as the Spice Islands because of the nutmeg, mace and cloves that were exclusively found there, the presence of which sparked colonial interest from Europe in the sixteenth century. The Maluku Islands formed a single province from Indonesian independence until 1999, when it was split into two provinces. A new province, North Maluku, incorporates the area between Morotai and Sula, with the arc of islands from Buru and Seram to Wetar remaining within the existing Maluku Province. ...

Melkias Agustinus Pellaupessy
Melkias Agustinus Pellaupessy was an Indonesian politician born in Ambon, Dutch East Indies on May 15, 1906. Political career At the age of 19, he entered public service as an official of the Home Department. From 1937 up to the outbreak of World War II, he held the position of Head of the Administration Division of that Department. After World War II, he served as Secretary to the Resident Commissioner of South Sulawesi. In August 1946, he became Trade Commissioner and held this position until his nomination as representative of the State of East Indonesia to Jakarta in April 1948. In August 1948, he was appointed as the Resident of the South Moluccas. In September 1949, he took part in the Round Table Conference at The Hague as a member of the Federal Consultative Assembly, representing the pro-federal faction. Massaro Glunder-Timisela is a Netherlands, Dutch-Moluccan professional kickboxer. He is a former World version W5, W5 72.5 kg Intercontinental champion. Glunder was ranked in the Featherweight top ten by Combat Press from October 2015 until May 2016. Denny Domingues Landzaat (born 6 May 1976) is a Dutch former footballer who mostly played as a central midfielder or defensive midfielder and current assistant manager of Ekstraklasa side Lech Poznań. Christian Supusepa (born 2 April 1989 in Wormerveer) is a Dutch footballer who currently plays as a left back for SV Spakenburg in the Dutch Tweede Divisie. Chris Limahelu
Chris Limahelu (October 16, 1950 – April 7, 2010) was placekicker for the USC Trojans football team during the 1973 and 1974 seasons when John McKay was the head coach. Only and during his playing career, he is remembered for setting new team records. His 47-yard field goal at the 1974 Rose Bowl game was the longest ever by a Trojan, breaking a 64-year-old Trojan record, and it became the second longest field goal in Rose Bowl history. By the end of his career in 1975, Limahelu had kicked three of the five longest field goals in USC football history, a record which stood until Steve Jordan's 52-yard kicks, one in 1982 and another in 1983, and Don Shafer's 60-yard kick in 1985. Taslim Azis (23 June 1964 – 28 February 2021) was an Indonesian politician and Silat, pesilat. He was an interim member of the People's Representative Council in 2019. Biography Azis was born on Ambon Island to Ali Bali and Samida Azis. After his secondary studies, he moved to Bandung to attend Bandung Islamic University. He graduated with a degree in mining engineering in 1994. During his university studies, he participated in Indonesian student sports week, winning a gold medal in shotput.
