The Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management ( nl, Minister van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat) is the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and a member of the Cabinet and the Council of Ministers. The incumbent minister is Mark Harbers of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) who has been in office since 10 January 2022. Regularly a State Secretary is assigned to the Ministry who is tasked with specific portfolios. The current State Secretary is Vivianne Heijnen of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party who also has been in office since 10 January 2022 and has been assigned the portfolios of Aviation, Water Management and Weather Forecasting. Mark Harbers
Markus Gerardus Jozef "Mark" Harbers (born 19 April 1969) is a Dutch politician who serves as the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management in the Fourth Rutte cabinet since 10 January 2022. He previously served the State Secretary for Justice and Security in the Third Rutte cabinet from 26 October 2017 until 21 May 2019. He is a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). Early life and education Harbers was born in Ede, Gelderland. He studied economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam but dropped out before graduation. Political career Career in local politics A former communication employee, Harbers served as a member of the district council of Kralingen-Crooswijk from 1992 to 1998 and municipal councillor of Rotterdam from 2002 until 2007. Johannes van den Bergh (born 21 November 1986) is a German professional footballer who plays as a left back for club Holstein Kiel. Career Van den Bergh was born in Germany, and is of distant Dutch descent. He started his professional career with Borussia Mönchengladbach, making his first appearance on 16 September 2006 in the Bundesliga. He was substituted on in the 46th minute in a 2–4 defeat to Aachen. On 23 June 2009, Van den Bergh left Borussia Mönchengladbach and signed a three-year contract with Fortuna Düsseldorf. Constantijn Theodoor, Count Lynden family, van Lynden van Sandenburg, (24 February 1826 – 18 November 1885) was a Dutch politician.
