Kurdish PEN
Kurdish PEN or the Kurdish Centre of the International PEN (''Navenda PEN a Kurd'' in Kurdish) is a branch of International PEN. It was suggested by Kurdish writer Hüseyin Erdem and voted into existence during International PEN's conference in Cambridge in 1988. Its headquarters are located in Cologne, Germany. The Kurdish PEN Center actively works with Kurdish writers in all parts of Kurdistan to promote the Kurdish language and literature. The Center is headed by Dr. Zaradachet Hajo. Kurdish PEN publishes research articles related to Kurdish culture in four languages: English, German, Spanish and Kurdish. Patriotic Union Of Kurdistan
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK; ku, یەکێتیی نیشتمانیی کوردستان, translit=Yekîtiya Nîştimanî ya Kurdistanê) is a political party active in Kurdistan Region and the disputed territories in Iraq. Kurdish Revolutionary Party ( ar, الحزب الثوري الكردستاني) was a political party in Iraq seeking independence for the Kurdish people. Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party ( ku, Parti Sosyalisti Demokrati Kurdistan; ar-at, الحزب الاشتراكي الديمقراطي الكردستاني, Hizb al-Ishtiraki al-Dimuqrati al-Kurdistani) is a political party in Kurdistan Region. The first leader was Saleh Yousefi after 1981. After 1992, the party was led by Mahmoud Othman. The party is currently led by Mohammed Haji Mahmoud. The Kurdistan Conservative Party is led by Najat Surchi. The List represents tribal leaders and is dominated by the Surchi family. Kurdistan Toilers' Party
Kurdistan Toilers' Party ( ku, Parti Zahmatkeshan Kurdistan) founded according to the party in 1985, is a splinter from the Kurdistan Socialist Party, and later a member of the Iraqi Kurdistan Front. Led by Khalid Zangana, now it is led by Qadir Aziz. It publishes the newspaper '' Alay Azadi'' (Banner of Freedom) in Sulaymaniyya. A few cultural and ideological periodicals (''Pesh Kawtin'' and ''Nojan'') are also reportedly published and television and radio programmes put out on its own broadcasting stations. Kurdistan Islamic Union ( ku, یەکگرتووی ئیسلامیی کوردستان ;Yekgirtiya Îslamî ya Kurdistanê), colloquially referred to as Yekgirtû, is an Islamist party in Iraqi Kurdistan. Leadership and supporters Salahaddin Bahaaddin cofounded the Kurdistan Islamic Union on February 6, 1994. In the first General Conference he was elected as the Secretary General of the party. Later, in the second, the third, and the fourth Conferences he was also elected as the Secretary General.
