This is the list of all K-1 champions. Included are the K-1 World Grand Prix and K-1 World MAX champions as well as all the preliminary tournament winners from the events promoted by K-1 and FEG (1993-2011) and later by K-1 Global (2012–present) following the former's dissolution. The list does not contain K-1's mixed martial arts branch Hero's and DREAM champions. K-1 World Grand Prix
K-1 World Grand Prix, also known as the K-1 World GP, is an elimination kickboxing tournament that has been held annually since 1993 by the K-1 organization. Each year, K-1 holds various 16-men, 8-match grand prix style tournaments throughout the world to determine which 16 fighters will compete in the K-1 World GP. This tournament has had nine different winners with Ernesto Hoost and Semmy Schilt each winning four times. Match-ups Usually combatants of the quarter-finals of a 16-man 8-match tournament are paired by drawing. In the case of the Final in the Tokyo Dome it is widely different. The whole event is combined with a ceremony and a press conference. The process looks like a lottery show in the beginning with all the fighters pulling a ball from a glass bowl. Antonio Plazibat
Antonio Plazibat (born 12 December 1993) is a Croatian professional kickboxer, who currently competes in the Heavyweight division of Glory. Plazibat was the 2014 FFC Futures Light Heavyweight tournament winner, the 2017 K-1 WGP Heavyweight World Grand Prix winner and a former K-1 Heavyweight Champion. At the amateur level, Plazibat was a three-time national champion, having won the Croatian Kickboxing Championships consecutively between 2015 and 2017. Plazibat captured medals at both the WAKO world and continental tournaments, as he won the silver medal at the 2015 WAKO World Championships and the gold medal at the 2018 European Championships. As of January 2023, he is ranked as the second best heavyweight kickboxer in the world by both Beyond Kick and Combat Press. Minoru Kimura
is a Brazilian kickboxer of Japanese and Italian descent, fighting out of Fighting Kairos Gym. He is the former K-1 Super Welterweight champion. He has faced several notable fighters of his weight division such as Kaew Fairtex, Hideaki Yamazaki, Yasuomi Soda, Masaaki Noiri, Massaro Glunder and Hiroya. He was ranked in the featherweight top ten by Combat Press between June 2015 and March 2017. He was also ranked in the top ten by Liverkick.com. Hinata Watanabe
Hinata Watanabe (born August 26, 1986 in Hiratsuka), or HINATA, is a Japanese welterweight kickboxer fighting out of Hiratsuka, Japan for the Shonan Kakuto Club. He is the 2008 R.I.S.E. champion currently competing in R.I.S.E. and K-1 MAX. Biography and career Hinata made his pro debut with RISE at the G-Bazooka Tournament event in 2005 losing in a non-tournament match. Yasuhiro Kido
Yasuhiro Kido ( ja, 城戸康裕; born December 25, 1982) is a Japanese kickboxer, currently competing in the super welterweight division of K-1. A professional competitor since 2003, he is the 2008 K-1 World MAX Japan tournament winner and the 2017 K-1 Super Welterweight Grand Prix runner-up. Chingiz Allazov
Chingiz Ayazovich Allazov ( be, Чынгiз Аяз аглы Аллазаў, born 10 June 1993) is a Georgian-born Belarusian kickboxer of Azerbaijani descent, currently signed with ONE Championship. He is a former K-1 Super Welterweight Champion. As of June 2022, he is ranked the #3 lightweight in the world by Combat Press. Jordann Pikeur
Jordann Pikeur (born 1 September 1990) is a Curaçaoan-Dutch kickboxer. He is the current K-1 Krush Super Welterweight champion. He was ranked in the Combat Press featherweight top ten between April 2019 and March 2022, peaking at #2. Kickboxing career Pikeur participated in the 2015 K-1 Super Welterweight Grand Prix. In the quarterfinals, he defeated Daiki Watabe by a second round KO. In the semifinals, he defeated Sanny Dahlbeck, likewise by a second round KO. Marat Grigorian ( hy, Մարատ Գրիգորյան; born 29 May 1991) is an Armenian-Belgian kickboxer currently signed to ONE Championship, where he competes in the featherweight division. Grigorian has previously competed for Glory and is a former Glory Lightweight Champion. He is famous for his technical aggressive fighting style and knockout power. K-Jee (born 5 November 1990) is a Japanese male kickboxer and the former K-1 Cruiserweight Champion and the former Krush Cruiserweight champion. Kickboxing career He took part in the 2017 Heavyweight Grand Prix, but lost to the eventual winner Antonio Plazibat in the quarterfinals. is a Japanese kickboxer, currently competing in the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions of K-1. He is a one-time K-1 Cruiserweight title challenger, having fought for the title in 2020. Hisaki Kato
is a Japanese-French professional mixed martial artist and kickboxer who most recently competed in Bellator's Middleweight division. A professional MMA competitor since 2013, he has also competed for Rizin. Background Born and raised in Paris, Kato's father was a Japanese judoka who moved to Paris to pursue a career teaching the martial art, and become one of the top instructors in the country. Boubaker El Bakouri (born 12 April 1994) is a Moroccan kickboxer and the finalist of the 2018 K-1 Cruiserweight Grand Prix.
