Iran
Iran, officially the Islamic Republic of Iran, and also called Persia, is a country located in Western Asia. Mahyar Alizadeh
Mahyar Alizadeh ( fa, مهیار علیزاده ; born 5 January 1982) is an Iranian musician, composer, singer and Taar player. After graduating from Alborz High School, he continued his career in music university and after that, decided to study in foreign universities. First he entered Komitass Conservatory in Armenia. As it influenced his passion on music as he always quotes that his career as a musician is divided in two, before Armenia and after that. After two years studying music composition at Armenia Conservatory, he chose Vienna University as the next stop in mastering musicology. Then in 2009 he resumed recording his debut album in collaboration with Alireza Ghorbani, an album that was begun when he was in Armenia. This album, named ''Autumn on Fire'' and labelled under Avay-e Barbad production, became the best selling Persian music album in 2011–2012. Alireza Mashayekhi
Alireza Mashayekhi is an Iranian musician, composer, conductor and academic. He is one of the first composers in Iran to represent avant-garde, modern and contemporary music. He is a pioneer of electroacoustic music in Iran. Early life Mashayekhi was born in Tehran in 1940. After graduating from the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, he went to Utrecht, the Netherlands, to study electronic and computer music, and attended lectures by Gottfried Michael Koenig. Career In 1993, with cooperation of the pianist Farima Ghavam-Sadri, Mashayekhi founded the Tehran Contemporary Music Group. In 1995 he established the Iranian Orchestra for New Music, which released its first recording in 2002 on Hermes Records. Ali Rahbari
Ali (Alexander) Rahbari ( fa, علی رهبری; also Romanized as "Alī Rahbarī", ; born 1948) is an Iranian composer and conductor, who has worked with more than 120 European orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic and the Mariinsky Opera.BBC Persian">BBC Persian/ref> Life Born in Tehran on 26 May 1948, Rahbari studied violin and musical composition, composition with Rahmatollah Badiee and Hossein Dehlavi at the Persian National Music Conservatory. Ahmad Pejman
Ahmad Pejman ( fa, احمد پژمان ; born 1935), also spelled as Ahmad Pezhman, is an Iranian classical composer who resides in the United States. Pejman is notable for his operatic and symphonic works. Biography Born in 1935 in Lar, Iran, Pejman was exposed to the sounds and rhythms of southern Iran from early childhood. In high school he started violin lessons with Heshmat Sanjari and music theory with Hossein Nassehi. Ali Radman (born 20 June 1973) is an Iranian musician, composer, conductor, pedagogue and pianist. Life Ali Radman was born on 20 June 1973 in Tehran, Iran. He was introduced to a classical music foundation and basic theory topics of music by his father, Mohammad Hassan Radman, from early age. He was improving his knowledge of basic elements of music, piano playing, and the theory of Iranian music under the conservatory teachers’ supervision. At the same time, he was a sophomore in the field of electronics at Kerman University. Saeed Farajpouri, was born on February 20, 1961 in Sanadaj, Iran. He is a composer, performer and an instructor of a classical Iranian instrument called Kamancheh or Spike Fiddle. Parviz Meshkatian (Persian: پرويز مشكاتيان; May 15, 1955 – September 21, 2009) was an Iranian musician, composer, researcher and university lecturer.
