Jakarta Kota Station (, station code: JAKK) is a railway station, located in the old city core of Kota, Jakarta, Indonesia. The station was named ''Batavia Zuid'' (or ''South Batavia'') until the beginning of the 20th century. Jagorawi Toll Road
The Jakarta–Bogor–Ciawi Toll Road (shortened to Jagorawi Toll Road) is the first toll road in Indonesia. Construction of the highway began in 1973, and it was officially opened on 9 March 1978. The Jagorawi Toll Road links the capital city of Jakarta to the West Javanese cities of Bogor and Ciawi. It has a length of around going north and southbound and is operated by Jasa Marga, a state-owned enterprise. The toll road has achieved break-even point, making it the cheapest toll road in Indonesia based on price per kilometer. When the road was still in its construction phase, it was not officially a toll road. Gambir Train Station ( id, Stasiun Gambir, station code: GMR) is a major railway station in Gambir, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. The station is located on the eastern side of Merdeka Square. It was built during the Dutch East Indian era and renovated in the 1990s. Currently Gambir Station serves as a terminus for most intercity trains operating across Java Island. One of Jakarta's main commuter lines, the KRL Commuterline Bogor Line (to Bogor) pass through this station, but do not stop here. There are however, plans to reactivate the station as a stop for commuter, due to high volume of passenger that board and exiting from Gambir's neighboring-commuter only stations ( and station). Jatinegara
Jatinegara (originally known as Meester Cornelis or Meester for short) is one of the districts (''Kecamatan'') of East Jakarta, Indonesia. The name also refers to the larger, historic area of the colonial town of Meester Cornelis. Established in the 17th century, Jatinegara is one of the oldest areas in Jakarta, and contains a number of buildings from the colonial period. The area is historically known for its cosmopolitan character, dominated formerly by indigenous Christians from the so-called Outer Islands, but also with sizeable Chinese and Arab communities (''Vreemde Oosterlingen'' or 'Foreign Orientals'). Pluit is an administrative village (''kelurahan'') located in Penjaringan, North Jakarta. In majority, its residents are mainly inhabited by ethnic Chinese Indonesians. Pluit is a bustling area with residential and commercial establishments supported by modern amenities. Etymology Contrary to popular belief, the name ''Pluit'' has no etymological connection with ''fluit'' (''whistle'' in Dutch). The name was derived from a Dutch type of ship, the ''fluyt''. In the 17th century, a fluyt called ''het Witte Paard'' was shipwrecked on the eastern coast of the Angke river estuary.
