In music, a single is a type of release, typically a song recording of fewer tracks than an LP record or an album. One can be released for sale to the public in a variety of formats. In most cases, a single is a song that is released separately from an album, although it usually also appears on an album. In other cases a recording released as a single may not appear on an album. Despite being referred to as a single, in the era of music downloads, singles can include up to as many as three tracks. is a Japanese female idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto, created as the of the group AKB48. They are the first group from the Sakamichi Series, which also includes sister groups Sakurazaka46 (formerly Keyakizaka46), Yoshimotozaka46, and Hinatazaka46. The group's musical catalogue includes twenty-eight singles and five compilation albums. Starting with their third single, each of Nogizaka46's single releases has reached the top position on the weekly Oricon chart. The group has also created radio shows, theater productions, television programs, and films, including ''NogiBingo!'', ''Hatsumori Bemars'', '' Nogizaka Under Construction'', ''Asahinagu'', and a series of documentary films about the group. "I Seek/Daylight" is the 49th single by Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on May 18, 2016 under their record label J Storm. "I seek" was used as the theme song for the drama ''Sekai Ichi Muzukashii Koi'' starring Arashi member Satoshi Ohno, and "Daylight" was used as the theme song for the drama ''99.9 Keiji Senmon Bengoshi'' starring Arashi member Jun Matsumoto. The single sold over 737,000 copies in its first week and topped the weekly Oricon Singles Chart. "I seek/Daylight" was certified for Triple Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). Single information "I seek/Daylight" was released in three editions: a regular edition and two limited editions. Sexy Zone is a five-member Japanese boy band managed by Johnny & Associates, consisting of Shori Sato, Kento Nakajima, Marius Yo, Fuma Kikuchi and Sou Matsushima. NMB48 (read "N.M.B. Forty-eight") is a Japanese idol group that debuted in 2011 as the second sister group to AKB48, produced by Yasushi Akimoto. NMB48 is named after the Namba district in Osaka city of Osaka Prefecture, where the group is based. The group performs at the NMB48 Theater, which is located in the basement of the Yes-Namba Building in Namba, Osaka. The group has sold over 9 million CDs in Japan. HKT48 is named after the Hakata-ku, Fukuoka city of Fukuoka Prefecture, where Akimoto originally intended to base the group.
