It reached number one on the Oricon and Billboard Japan weekly singles chart. It was the 19th best-selling single of the year in Japan, with 327,815 copies. Promotion and release "Sakura, Minnade Tabeta" was released in Japan on March 12, 2014 in four different versions: Type A, Type B, Type C and the Theater.
