Giorgos Fountas ( el, Γιώργος Φούντας; February 13, 1922 – November 28, 2010) was a Greek actor in film and television. Biography Fountas attended the Dramatic School at the Athens Odeum. He appeared for the first time in the theatre in '' Nyfiatiko tragoudi'' ("Bridal Song") and his first film in 1944. Dimitris "Mimis" Fotopoulos ( el, Δημήτρης (Μίμης) Φωτόπουλος; 8 April 1913 – 29 October 1986) was a Greek actor, writer, poet, and artist. He was born in Zatouna, Gortynia, Arcadia. He studied at the Dramatic School of National Theatre (Δραματική Σχολή του Εθνικού Θεάτρου). He also studied at the Philosophical School at the University of Athens until his second year in 1933. Nikos Stavridis ( el, Νίκος Σταυρίδης; 1910 – 14 December 1987) was a Greek actor in film and theater. Biography He started his career at a musical theatre, he participated in shows, operettas and varieties. Alekos Sakellarios ( el, Αλέκος Σακελλάριος, 13 November 1913 in Athens – 28 August 1991 in Athens) was a Greece, Greek writer and a director. He was born in Athens and grew up in Agios Panteleimonas, Athens, Agios Panteleimonas and began to study journalism and acting at a young age. He wrote his first theatrical play in 1935 called ''The King of Halva''. He entered the film industry and had roles in both screenwriting and directing. He directed mainly with Christos Giannakopoulos and together they wrote and produced an estimated 140 works. ''Ta Kitrina Gantia'' ( el, Τα Κίτρινα Γάντια, ''The Yellow Gloves'') is a 1960 Greek comedy film made by Finos Films. It was directed by Alekos Sakellarios and stars Nikos Stavridis, Mimis Fotopoulos, Maro Kontou and Martha Vourtsi. Plot Orestis ( Nikos Stavridis) is a jealous husband and always appears to be suspicious of his partner. He stops in a cafe and upon finding yellow gloves belonging to wife Rena (Maro Kontou), he suspects her of cheating. He heads to his house in order to ask Rena if the gloves are hers. The situation is resolved and he is embarrassed to find out that they are not Rena's and that he was enraged over nothing. Before he is calmed down, he suspects Rena of having cheated on him with Moustakias (Mimis Fotopoulos) until it is revealed the gloves belonged to the servant Toula (Martha Vourtsi). Georges Sari ( el, Ζωρζ Σαρή) or Zorz Sari (born Georgia Sarivaxevani; 22 August 1925 – 9 June 2012), a Greek author and actress, was born in Athens. Her mother was French and her father was Greek from Ayvalik, Turkey. She grew up in Greece, where she attended elementary and secondary school.
