Bernhard-Viktor Christoph-Carl von Bülow (12 November 1923 – 22 August 2011), known as Vicco von Bülow or Loriot (), was a German comedian, humorist, cartoonist, film director, actor and writer. He was best known for his cartoons, the sketches from his 1976 television series ''Loriot'', alongside Evelyn Hamann, and his two movies, ''Ödipussi'' (1988) and ''Pappa Ante Portas'' (1991). On the television series ''Unsere Besten'' (''Our Best''), Loriot was ranked the 54th best German ever. In a special comedy episode of ''Unsere Besten'', he was ranked as the most famous German comedian ever. Alexander Duszat (born 2 April 1971), known professionally as Elton, is a German television presenter and comedian who gained recognition as Stefan Raab's sidekick in the long-running late-night comedy show ''TV total''. Early life Elton was born on 2 April 1971 in West Berlin, but grew up and went to school in Jork near Hamburg. He finished his traineeship as a television and radio technician. Career Later, he hosted several shows for the local television channel Hamburg 1, where he first appeared under the nickname Elton, which was given to him due to a reportedly similar appearance to Elton John. Anke Christina Fischer ( Engelke; born 21 December 1965) is a German comedian, actress, voice actress and television presenter. Personal life Born in Montreal, Canada, Engelke moved to Cologne, Germany in 1971 with her German parents. Early on, she exhibited singing talent, and was discovered in 1978 by Georg Bossert at a performance of her school's choir. From 1994 to 2000, Engelke was married to the keyboardist Andreas Grimm with whom she has a daughter. She was married to musician Claus Fischer from 2005 to 2015, with whom she has two sons. Since 1977, he works in Germany as a cabaret artist. His most famous role is ''Heinz Becker''. Dudenhöffer is married and has two children. Dudenhöffer's character "Heinz Becker" Heinz Becker is an elderly catholic-conservative working-class man. He lives with his wife and son in a small rural town, a place where each knows everyone else and people often have family ties between them (the model obviously is Dudenhöffer's home town of Bexbach). Klaus-Jürgen "Knacki" Deuser (born 28 May 1962) is a German presenter and comedian. He is known for his comedy show '' NightWash''. Biography Deuser was born in 1962 in Kaiserslautern and grew up in Koblenz. After being involved in competitive sports (athletics 800–1500 m, 1981), he moved to Cologne, where he completed his business degree. In 1983, with Ralf Günther and Wolfgang Lüchtrath, he founded the comedy theatre group, The Niegelungen; they recorded more than 1,500 performances in the next eleven years. Sammy Drechsel (25 April 1925, in Berlin – 19 January 1986, in Munich), born Karl-Heinz Kamke, was a German political comedian, journalist and sports reporter. In 1956, together with Dieter Hildebrandt, he founded the Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft, one of Germany's most successful and influential sites of political kabarett, for which he was producer and director up to his death. From 1950 to his death he also worked as a sports reporter for the Bavarian "Bayrischer Rundfunk". He also became well known for his 1955 book "Elf Freunde müsst ihr sein" ("You Ought to be Eleven Friends"), which targeted an adolescent audience. Alfred Dorfer (; 11 October 1961) is an Austrian comedian, writer, and actor. He is one of the most well-known cabaret artists and comedians in Austria, not least due to his commitment to numerous Austrian film productions. After initial success with the group ''Schlabarett'' he attained more widespread recognition as the writer and star (alongside Josef Hader) of the film ''Indien''. Oliver Michael Dittrich (born 20 November 1956) is a German television personality, comedian, actor, and musician. Life Dittrich completed a three year-education as a theatre painter in the Hamburg State Opera (1975–1978). At the same time, he started his professional career as a musician, composer, and songwriter. Dittrich became famous in Germany for his work as an actor and comedian in the comedy television show ''RTL Samstag Nacht''. He appeared in films and TV series but has also performed live on stage. Karl Bernhard Dall (, 1 February 1941 – 23 November 2020) was a German comedian, singer, and television presenter. His distinctive 'hanging' eye was caused by a congenital ptosis. Family Karl Dall was born in Emden, Germany, the son of a school rector and a teacher. He married his wife Barbara in 1971. They had one daughter, Janina, who works as a stuntwoman in Canada. Eberhard Cohrs (4 January 1921 – 17 August 1999) was a German comedian and actor. A short man, he was frequently known as " erKleene mit der großen Gusche", a Saxon dialect epithet which loosely translates as "the little guy with the big mouth". Life Early years The father of Eberhard Cohrs was a hat maker, originally from Uelzen in Lower Saxony. His mother Alma, who also worked in the little hat making business, came from the Vogtland. His first ambition as a youth was to become a jockey.
