List Of Gaon Digital Chart Number Ones Of 2022
The Circle Digital Chart, known as the Gaon Digital Chart until its July 2022 rebranding, is a chart that ranks the best-performing singles in South Korea. Managed by the domestic Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST), its data is compiled by the Korea Music Content Industry Association and published by the Circle Chart. The ranking is based collectively on each single's download sales, stream count, and background music use. The Circle Chart provides weekly (listed from Sunday to Saturday), monthly, and yearly lists for the chart. Following the announcement of the data for week 27 and the monthly chart of June, the Gaon Digital Chart was rebranded to the Circle Digital Chart, in line with Gaon's rebranding to Circle. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. History The Gaon Digital Chart was launched as a part of the Gaon Chart in February 2010, by Korea Music Content Association and South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It started with compiling data from six major South Korean music platforms Melon, Dosirak, Mnet.com, Bugs, Cyworld, and Soribada. Spotify Korea was included from chart starting December 2021. Ive (; stylized as IVE) is a South Korean girl group formed by Starship Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Gaeul, Yujin, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo. NCT Dream () is the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, formed by SM Entertainment in 2016. It was released as the lead single from the repackaged version of their second studio album ''Glitch Mode'' (2022) on May 30, 2022, alongside an accompanying music video.
