The Finance Minister of Denmark (Danish ''Finansministeren'') is the head of the Ministry of Finance of Denmark,and a member of the Cabinet. Alsing Andersen
Alsing Emanuel Andersen (5 February 1893 – 5 December 1962) was a Danish social democrat politician. Andersen served as the Minister of Defense (1935–1940) for Denmark. From 8 July 1940 to 1945, he served as the vice chairman of the Danish Social Democratic Party, and as the acting chairman of the party from the death of Thorvald Stauning (3 May 1942) until the end of the Nazi occupation of Denmark in 1945. Andersen briefly returned to national politics as the Minister of the Interior from 13 to 23 November 1947. He later served as the second President of the Socialist International from 1957 to 1962. Svend Jakobsen
Svend Jakobsen (1935–2022) was a Danish politician who held different cabinet posts between 1973 and 1981. He was the speaker of the Danish Parliament or Folketing from 1981 to 1989. Biography Jakobsen was born in Vendsyssel on 1 November 1935. He was the seventh of his parents' nine children. He attended a secondary school, but did not complete his studies. He worked as a commission agent from 1955 to 1959. He joined the Social Democrats and was elected to the Folketing in 1971 from the constituency of Copenhagen county. He was a member of the cabinets led by Anker Jørgensen and served as minister of housing (September–November 1973), minister of taxes (1975–1977), minister of fisheries (1977–1979) and minister of finance (1979–1981). Knud Heinesen
Knud Heinesen (born 1932) is a Danish economist and politician who held various cabinet posts, including the minister of education and minister of finance. In 1985 he retired from politics and involved in business. Early life and education Heinesen was born in Kerteminde on 26 September 1932. He was adopted by his aunt due to the fact that his mother died when he was seven years old. He was raised in Vangede. He attended Aurehøj Gymnasium in Gentofte and graduated in 1951. Anders Ejnar Andersen (1912–2006) was a Danish politician who was a member of Venstre and held various government posts, including minister finance and minister of economic affairs in the 1970s and 1980s. Erik Ninn-Hansen
Erik Ninn-Hansen (12 April 1922 – 20 September 2014) was a Danish politician. He served in the Cabinet of Hilmar Baunsgaard, first as Defence Minister, and later as Finance Minister. In the early 1970s he became leader of the Conservative People's Party, but without much success, as the party slumped to its worst-ever results in the 1973 and 1975 elections. Tamil Case In the 1980s cabinets of Poul Schlüter, Ninn-Hansen served as Justice Minister. It was from this position that he abused the powers vested in him by illegally stalling family reunion applications from relatives to Tamil refugees, known as the Tamil Case. When the story broke in 1989, Ninn-Hansen was forced to resign as cabinet minister. Olfert Viggo Fischer Kampmann (; 21 July 1910 – 3 June 1976) was a Danish politician who served as the leader of the Danish Social Democrats and Prime Minister of Denmark from 1960 to 1962. He formed his first cabinet just prior to the 1960 election, which was a coalition between the Social Democrats, the Justice Party and Social Liberal Party. Thorkil Kristensen
Thorkil Kristensen (9 October 1899 – 26 June 1989) was a Danish politician, finance minister, professor in national economy, and futurist. Early years Kristensen was born a son of a farmer in Fløjstrup close to Vejle, Denmark. Between 1938–1945 he was professor at the University of Aarhus and between 1947–1960 at the Copenhagen Business School. Hans Christian Svane Hansen (8 November 1906 – 19 February 1960), often known as H. C. Hansen or simply H. C., was a Danish politician who served as Prime Minister of Denmark from 1955 until his death in 1960. A Social Democrat, Hansen served as finance minister in the unity cabinet from May to November 1945 and again from 1947 to 1950 under Hans Hedtoft. He served as minister of industry, commerce and seafare in the final month of Hedtoft's first cabinet, and later became foreign minister in 1953, and continued in this post during his own premiership until 1958.
