Tyler Saladino
Tyler Artolo Saladino (born July 20, 1989) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago White Sox and Milwaukee Brewers and for the Samsung Lions of the KBO League. Amateur career Born and raised in San Diego, California, Saladino attended University City High School, where he was a standout in baseball and held a 3.1 GPA. Saladino then attended Palomar College in San Marcos, California, before transferring to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In his two years at Palomar as a shortstop and third baseman, Saladino hit .399 and .616 in conference play. During his time at Palomar, Saladino was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 36th round of the 2008 draft, but turned it down to continue with college. Jason Brickman
Jason Alexander Brickman (born November 19, 1991) is a Filipino-American basketball player for the Kaohsiung Aquas of the T1 League. He completed his college career for the Long Island University Blackbirds after the 2013–14 season. Brickman was considered one of the best passers in the nation according to ESPN analyst Jay Bilas. Of Brickman, Bilas said "He really understands angles very well. He gets the ball to (LIU's) best players, and he does a really nice job of managing the game. An excellent passer." Brickman led NCAA Division I in assists per game as a junior with an 8.52 average, then repeated in 2013–14 with a 10.00 per game average. Nicholas M. Bayaca Belasco (born December 10, 1973) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player who last played for the Pasig Sta. Lucia Realtors of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). He was drafted 2nd overall by Sunkist in 1997. Born in Stockton, California, he was an import for the Westports Malaysia Dragons in the Asean Basketball League. He was an assistant coach for the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He founded the Belasco Unlimited Skills Academy (BUSA). The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, or simply known as the Magnolia Hotshots, are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team is owned by San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc., a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation (SMC). The team is one of three PBA ball clubs currently owned by the SMC group of companies, along with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the San Miguel Beermen. They have 14 PBA championships, tied with Barangay Ginebra and the Alaska Aces for the second-most championships overall, trailing only San Miguel Beermen by 14. The franchise plays under numerous brand names of the company but is best known by its original name, Purefoods. Alaska Aces (PBA)
The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Magnolia Hotshots for the second-most titles overall. They are one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines. The Aces won nine PBA championships in the 1990s, including a rare grand slam (winning three championships in one season) during the 1996 season, joining the Crispa Redmanizers (1976, 1983), San Miguel Beermen (1989), and the San Mig Super Coffee Mixers ( 2013–14) as one of only four franchises to achieve the feat. Christopher Guerrero Banchero (born January 24, 1989) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player for the Meralco Bolts of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted 5th overall by Alaska in the 2014 PBA draft. High school and college career Banchero was a key player for state 3A champion O'Dea High School, where he averaged 15.1 points for the Fighting Irish, who went 25–5. After his senior year in high school, he committed to play for Seattle Pacific University men's basketball program under coach Ryan Looney. San Miguel Alab Pilipinas (under the corporate name Pilipinas Basketball Club, Inc. or PBCI) is a Filipino professional basketball team which played in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) under the sponsorship of San Miguel Corporation. The Philippines men's national basketball team ( fil, Pambansang koponan ng basketbol ng Pilipinas), commonly known as Gilas Pilipinas, is the basketball team representing the Philippines.
