Disney stand alone programming TV blocks are block of Disney shows on non-Disney channels or TV stations around the world. Disney puts together stand alone TV block to reach those audiences that do not have access to cable or satellite. By the end of March 2000, Disney was in 35 countries in three regions, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific (13 countries) with 82 blocks with more than 9,000 hours total per year. Block programming is the broadcast programming, arrangement of programs on radio or television so that those of a particular genre, theme, or target audience are united. Overview Block programming involves scheduling a series of related shows which are likely to attract and hold a given audience for a long period of time. TV Nova (Czech Republic)
TV Nova is a commercial television station in the Czech Republic. It began broadcasting in February 1994 as the first privately held nationwide Czech TV station. Its first CEO was Vladimír Železný. ETV Network is a network of Telugu language news and entertainment satellite television channels in India. It is based in Hyderabad. RTL (formerly: RTL Klub) is a Hungarian free-to-air television channel owned by RTL Group. The channel began broadcasting three days after its main rival TV2, one of Hungary's first commercial TV channels.
