This is a list of fictional characters appearing in the Japanese manga series ''Deadman Wonderland'' as well as its anime adaptation. Main characters Ganta Igarashi / Woodpecker is the main protagonist of the story. He is a seemingly harmless, ordinary middle school boy until the Wretched Egg slaughters his entire class, yet spares him and infuses him with a shard of red crystal.
