Martina Gasparovič Bezoušková
Martina Gasparovič Bezoušková (born 9 January 1961, Prague) is a Czech theatre and film actress and teacher. Biography She was born in Malá Strana, Prague, one of four children of the painter Ema Blažková (1924–2003) and Martin Gasparovič (1923–1989). As a young child, she studied classical ballet in the Ballet Preparatory School of the National Theater, tap danced, and sang in the Czech Radio Children's Choir. She later competed in ballroom dancing. From 1976 to 1980 she studied dental laboratory at the Secondary Medical School in Prague. After graduation, she was admitted to the Department of Dramatic Theater of the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU), from which she graduated in 1984. Her teachers there included Jana Hlaváčová. Since 2014 she has been teaching stage speech at DAMU. Zdeněk Troška
Zdeněk Troška (born 18 May 1953) is a Czech film director and screenwriter. He mainly directs comedies and fairy-tale films. Personal life Troška is deeply connected with the South Bohemian Region. He was born in the hospital in Strakonice, but he grew up in Hoštice, where he still lives and where he filmed several of his films (mostly notably the ''Slunce, seno...'' trilogy). He studied directing at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and also at Lycée Carnot in Dijon, France. Work Troška ranks among contradictory and sometimes controversial directors. Although he is educated and receives offers to direct classical operas and film dramas like '' Andělská tvář'' (2002), he is most famous for cheap comedies and fairy tales intended for an undemanding audience. Tomáš Hanák (born March 27, 1957) is a Czech actor, comedian, screenwriter, and TV presenter who has appeared in several films and television shows since 1984. He is also an occasional singer. Biography Hanák was born in Kremnica, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia). He spent two years in Cuba when he was a child, travelling a lot with his parents, where his father worked as a representative of the PZO in the implementation of engineering contracts. From his youth he devoted himself to rowing and repeatedly competed as a representative of Czechoslovakia in non-socialist countries. He became a repeated champion of the Czech Republic. Plot A programmer named Honza decides to clear his head over the weekend from his hectic job, picks up his ex-wife's son, and together they set off on a trip into the countryside. Their civilization is highlighted in the film using mobile phone, laptop and digital camera. Jan Švankmajer
Jan Švankmajer (; born 4 September 1934) is a Czech filmmaker and artist whose work spans several media. He is a self-labeled surrealist known for his stop-motion animations and features, which have greatly influenced other artists such as Terry Gilliam, the Brothers Quay, and many others. Life and career Early life Švankmajer was born in Prague. An early influence on his later artistic development was a puppet theatre he was given for Christmas as a child. He studied at the College of Applied Arts in Prague and later in the Department of Puppetry at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts, where he befriended Juraj Herz. He contributed to Emil Radok's film ''Johanes doctor Faust'' in 1958 and then began working for Prague's Semafor Theatre where he founded the Theatre of Masks.
