''Crossing Jordan'' is an American crime drama television series created by Tim Kring, that aired on NBC from September 24, 2001, to May 16, 2007. It stars Jill Hennessy as Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh, a crime-solving forensic pathologist employed in the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Arvin Brown (born May 24, 1940) is an American theatre and television director. He was the Artistic Director of the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut for 30 years. Life and career Born in Los Angeles, California, Brown made his Broadway directorial debut with a 1970 revival of Noël Coward's '' Hay Fever''. Under Brown, Long Wharf produced more than 200 plays, some 70 of which were staged by Brown himself. His specialty at Long Wharf and in New York was realistic American plays of the mid 20th century, often in revival. Tim Hunter (born June 15, 1947, in Los Angeles, California) is an American television and film director. Early life and education Zinberg was born in Bexar County, Texas to Dorothy Zinberg (née Rissien) and William Zinberg. Zinberg graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio, TX. Michael Edward Gershman (June 17, 1944 – March 10, 2018) was an American cinematographer and television director. He was born on June 17, 1944, to Edward Gershman, a TV producer and his wife, Norine.
