''Comedy Central Presents'' is an American stand-up comedy television series created for Comedy Central. It is the network's main half-hour program which highlights either one or a series of stand-up comedians each episode. In 2011, the series ended and Comedy Central replaced it with the revamped ''The Half Hour'', now called ''Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents'', a series of 30-minute stand-up specials. Episodes DVDs Starting in 2008, Comedy Central started releasing "Best of" compilation DVDs, with uncensored audio. Previously, some of these episodes have appeared on DVDs of comedians' stand-up specials, only they remained censored. ''The Best of Comedy Central Presents: Uncensored'' This DVD was released on February 5, 2008. On this DVD, only the audio was uncensored. There is one moment in Dane Cook's special when he gives the finger, which was blurred on television, that remains blurred. Elvira Kurt (born December 9, 1961) is a Canadian comedian, and was the host of the game show '' Spin Off''. She hosted the entertainment satire/talk show ''PopCultured with Elvira Kurt'', which began on The Comedy Network in Canada in 2005. That show's style was similar to ''The Daily Show with Jon Stewart''. It was cancelled due to poor ratings in early 2006. She is of Jewish Hungarian descent. Openly lesbian, she coined the term "fellagirly" to describe herself and other lesbians whose style is a blend of butch and femme, as opposed to strictly one or the other. Her comedic style relies heavily on complaints about celebrity culture, her own appearance, and the effects of aging. Brian Joseph Regan () (born June 2, 1958) is an American stand-up comedian who uses observational, sarcastic, and self-deprecating humor. He is known for incorporating body language and facial expressions into his act. His performances are often described as clean as he refrains from profanity as well as taboo subject matter. Regan's material typically covers everyday events, such as shipping a package with UPS, mortgages, and visits to the optometrist. While he does not define himself as youth-oriented, Regan makes frequent references to childhood, including little league baseball, grade school spelling bees, and science projects. John Antonopoulos (born November 14, 1952 in Malden, Massachusetts, United States), known professionally as Johnny A, is an American musician, guitarist, and songwriter. Early life Johnny A. was born in Malden, Massachusetts, of Greek heritage. Growing up in the Boston area, he became interested in music, starting with drums at age six. Upon being exposed to The Beatles in 1964 at age 11, Johnny's parents bought him a $49 Lafayette Electronics guitar.
