List Of Collegiate Sprint Football League Champions
This is a list of Collegiate Sprint Football League champions. Founded in 1934, the league was originally known as "The Eastern 150-pound Football League" (150s). In 1967, the name of the league was changed to "The Eastern Lightweight Football League" (ELFL), and then again into its current form, "The Collegiate Sprint Football League" (CSFL), in 1998. Before 2022, the CSFL was the sole governing body for college-level sprint football. It was joined in the 2022 season by the Midwest Sprint Football League, initially featuring six schools in the Midwest and Upper South. Alderson Broaddus University
Alderson Broaddus University (AB) is a private Baptist university in Philippi, West Virginia. It is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA. It was formed in 1932 as Alderson–Broaddus College by the union of two Baptist institutions: Alderson Academy (founded 1901) and Broaddus Institute (founded 1871; moved to Philippi, 1909). The school adopted its current name in 2013. The university's academics are organized into five academic divisions: Education and Special Programs, Health Sciences, Humanities, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. Michigan Wolverines
The Michigan Wolverines comprise 29 varsity sports teams at the University of Michigan. These teams compete in the NCAA's Division I and in the Big Ten Conference in all sports except women's water polo, which competes in the NCAA inter-divisional Collegiate Water Polo Association. Team colors are maize and blue, though these are different shades of "maize" and "blue" from those used by the university at large. The winged helmet is a recognized icon of Michigan Athletics. Sprint Football
Sprint football, formerly called lightweight football, is a varsity sport played by United States colleges and universities, under standard American football rules. As of the 2022 season, the sport is governed by the Collegiate Sprint Football League and the Midwest Sprint Football League. In sprint football, players must maintain a weight of 178 lb or 81 kg or less and a minimum of 5% body fat to be eligible to play. The end result of these weight restrictions is that, unlike conventional collegiate football which places a premium on body weight and strength, sprint football emphasizes speed and agility. Post University
Post University is a private for-profit university in Waterbury, Connecticut. It was founded in 1890 as Post College. From 1990 to 2004 it was affiliated with Teikyo University in Tokyo, Japan and during that time it was named Teikyo Post University. The university offers over 25 undergraduate and graduate programs in day, evening, and online courses with most of its students participating exclusively online. It has satellite centers in Meriden, Danbury, and Wallingford. History Post University was founded in 1890 as Matoon Shorthand School. The Franklin Pierce Ravens are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Franklin Pierce University, located in Rindge, New Hampshire, in NCAA sporting competitions. Franklin Pierce competes at the Division II level in 22 varsity sports. Princeton Tigers
The Princeton Tigers are the athletic teams of Princeton University. The school sponsors 35 varsity teams in 20 sports. The school has won several NCAA national championships, including one in men's fencing, three in women's lacrosse, six in men's lacrosse, and eight in men's golf. Princeton's men's and women's crews have also won numerous national rowing championships. Harvard Crimson
The Harvard Crimson are the intercollegiate athletic teams of Harvard College. The school's teams compete in NCAA Division I. As of 2013, there were 42 Division I intercollegiate varsity sports teams for women and men at Harvard, more than at any other NCAA Division I college in the country. Like the other Ivy League colleges, Harvard does not offer athletic scholarships. Sports sponsored Baseball Harvard's baseball program began competing in the 1865 season. Lafayette Leopards
The Lafayette Leopards represent the 23 Division I varsity athletic teams of Lafayette College and compete in the Patriot League. There are 11 men's teams, 11 women's teams, and one co-ed team. The club teams also compete as the Leopards. Though not a varsity sport, crew and ice hockey are very competitive at Lafayette and play in intercollegiate club leagues. Lafayette's primary rival in every sport is the Lehigh Mountain Hawks of nearby Lehigh University.
