The ''Clannad'' animated television series is based on the visual novel ''Clannad'' by the Japanese visual novel brand Key. The episodes, produced by the animation studio Kyoto Animation, are directed by Tatsuya Ishihara, written by Fumihiko Shimo, and features character design by Kazumi Ikeda who based the designs on Itaru Hinoue's original concept. Clannad () is an Irish band formed in 1970 in Gweedore, County Donegal by siblings Ciarán, Pól Brennan, Pól, and Moya Brennan and their twin uncles The Duggans, Noel and Pádraig Duggan. is a Japanese singer who has performed theme songs for video games and anime series. She has also participated in various dōjin music circles. Her own private circle is called ''Usagi Kinoko''. History Chata began dabbling in music in 1998. She used to participate in writing lyrics on Niftyserve's forum for Original MIDI music. Eufonius is a Japanese progressive pop rock music group which debuted on October 11, 2003 with the release of their first album ''Eufonius'' which was also an independent release.
