About Love (2005 Film)
''About Love'' () is a 2005 film. Three stories are told, respectively set in Tokyo, Taipei, and Shanghai. The first two stories are about a Japanese person and a Taiwanese person. The last one is set in Shanghai with a story about a Japanese man and a Chinese woman. Some of the characters can speak Japanese and some of them Mandarin. Each story encompasses an experience of a foreigner, either from Japan, Taiwan or China, with a native of a different country. The film was directed by Shimoyama Ten, Yee Chin-yen, and Zhang Yibai. It was written by Haruko Nagatsu, Shen Wei, and Yee Chin-yen. Plot In Tokyo, he is a Chinese computer graphic artist seeking to enrich his exposure while she is a Japanese painter struggling to recover from a broken relationship. This is the simplest and sweetest of the three stories, starting with hidden mutual attraction and ending in their first meeting. Barbie Hsu (; born 6 October 1976) is a Taiwanese actress, singer, and television host. She is best known for her leading role in the television series ''Meteor Garden'' (2001). Life and career Hsu was born in Taipei, Taiwan on 6 October 1976. She was the second of three sisters, with the eldest being Hsu Si-hsien, and the youngest sister being Dee Hsu. Liu Ye (, born 23 March 1978) is a Chinese actor. He ranked 78th on ''Forbes'' China Celebrity 100 list in 2013, 48th in 2014, and 89th in 2015. Career Liu began his acting career as a student majoring in performing arts at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing. ''The Ghost Inside'' () is a 2005 Chinese horror film directed by Herman Yau, and starring Mainland actors, Liu Ye and Gong Beibi and Taiwanese actress Barbie Shu. Plot The Ghost Inside tells the story of a young mother, Lin Xiaoyue, who flees her abusive husband, taking their young daughter with her. She rents an apartment in a new apartment block, but soon regrets the move. A neighbor tells her that the apartment is haunted by the spirit of a young mother, who threw her daughter out of the window before jumping to her death herself. Liu Rui (; born March 13, 1982 in Harbin, Heilongjiang; sometimes known as Rui Lui) is a Chinese curler. He was the skip of the Chinese men's Olympic Curling Team at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Liu played in his first World Curling Championships in 2008, playing third for Fengchun Wang. The team lost in the bronze medal game to Norway, settling for fourth place. After a slow start in the 2009 Ford World Men's Curling Championship, Liu switched to throw 4th stones while skip Fengchun Wang continued to call the game and throw 3rd stones.
