Baober In Love
''Baober in Love'' (), also known as ''Baobei in Love'', is a 2004 Chinese romantic mystery thriller film directed by Li Shaohong, and starring Zhou Xun, Huang Jue, Liao Fan, Li Xiaoran and Chen Kun. Liu Fendou () (born 1969, Beijing) is a Chinese film director, screenwriter and film producer. Biography Born in Beijing, Liu Fendou spent some time in the United States in his youth doing "generally doing a whole lot of nothing" until returning to Beijing in 1995. ''Jingzhe'' is a 2004 Chinese film directed by Wang Quan'an. The film is Wang's second feature and sees him reuniting with actress Yu Nan. ''Jingzhe'' is also known by its original international title, ''The Story of Ermei''. ''Jingzhe'' tells the story of Ermei (played by Yu Nan), a young villager in rural China. When Ermei's family falls on hard financial times, she is forced to marry off to an alcoholic villager so her family can collect the bride price. Unhappy in her married life, Ermei runs away to the city where she finds work at a restaurant. Jiang Wen
Jiang Wen (born 5 January 1963) is a Chinese actor, screenwriter, and director. As a director, he is sometimes grouped with the "Sixth Generation" that emerged in the 1990s. Jiang is also well known internationally as an actor, having starred with Gong Li in Zhang Yimou's debut film '' Red Sorghum'' (1986), and more recently as Baze Malbus in the Star Wars film ''Rogue One'' (2016). Joan Chen (born April 26, 1961) is a Chinese-American actress and film director. Hou Yong (cinematographer)
Hou Yong (; born 1960) is a Chinese filmmaker and cinematographer. He is perhaps best known for his collaboration with director Zhang Yimou, though he has worked with many of China's major directors. ''Jasmine Women'' is a 2004 Chinese film directed and co-written by Hou Yong in his directorial debut. The film is an adaptation of Su Tong's novel ''Women's Life'' (妇女生活) and depicts the emotionally troubled lives of 4 generations of Shanghainese women from the 1930s to the 1980s. ''Jasmine Women'' stars Zhang Ziyi and Joan Chen, who both portrayed multiple characters, as well as Jiang Wen, Lu Yi, and Liu Ye. The film was well received by critics and was praised for its use of color and the performances of Zhang Ziyi and Joan Chen.
