A television network or television broadcaster is a telecommunications network for distribution of television program content, where a central operation provides programming to many television stations or multichannel video programming distributor, pay television providers. Until the mid-1980s, television broadcast programming, programming in most countries of the world was dominated by a small number of terrestrial networks. Many early television networks (such as NBC, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, ABC, or the BBC) evolved from earlier radio networks. CCTV-Children
CCTV-14 is a Chinese free-to-air television channel that was launched on 28 December 2003 and is owned by the China Central Television. It airs animated films and series as well as kids game shows and other young-oriented programmes, including ''Super Wings'', '' Aggretsuko'', ''Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom''. ''Willa's Wild Life'', and ''Octonauts''. Before its launch, CCTV children's programs were broadcast on CCTV-7. History Test transmissions of the channel were started on 8 December 2003. Its first broadcast was made on 10 December 2003 with a duration of 16 hours. CCTV-14 was formally launched on 28 December 2003 as CCTV-Children and was split from CCTV-7. CNC Finance And Business
Numerical control (also computer numerical control, and commonly called CNC) is the automated control of machining tools (such as drills, lathes, mills, grinders, routers and 3D printers) by means of a computer. A CNC machine processes a piece of material (metal, plastic, wood, ceramic, or composite) to meet specifications by following coded programmed instructions and without a manual operator directly controlling the machining operation. A CNC machine is a motorized maneuverable tool and often a motorized maneuverable platform, which are both controlled by a computer, according to specific input instructions. Instructions are delivered to a CNC machine in the form of a sequential program of machine control instructions such as G-code and M-code, and then executed. CNC World
CNC World () is a majority state-owned 24-hour global English-language news channel, launched on July 1, 2010. It is 51% owned by the state-run China Xinhua News Network Corporation, and 49% by private investors, including Chinese home appliances maker Gree. The venture is part of Beijing's effort to "present an international vision with a Chinese perspective," Xinhua President Li Congjun said at the press conference announcing the launch of CNC World. Xinhua has leased a newsroom in New York on top of a skyscraper in Times Square to provide CNC World with prominent exposure in the United States. On December 16, 2010, CNC World agreed a deal with Eutelsat for coverage on Eutelsat 28A, 36B and Hot Bird 13B from January 1, 2011. The China Xinhua News Network Corporation (CNC, ) is a state-owned television network subsidiary of Xinhua News Agency. CNC owns and operates a TV news network and new media services. They are regarded as an attempt by China to enhance its global communications, develop its influence abroad and counter foreign media. In 2009, they began their 24-hour news channel broadcast in many countries all over the world. It plays a part in the Chinese government's attempt to show an international vision with a Chinese perspective as well as advocating Chinese nationalism. CCTV-5+ (), formerly CCTV-HD, is China Central Television's channel designated to broadcast top international sporting events in high-definition. It was tested in Beijing on 1 January 2008, and launched officially on 30 June 2008 under CCTV-HD. CCTV-HD was created specifically for the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Paralympics The 2008 Summer Paralympic Games (), the 13th Summer Paralympic Games, took place in Beijing, China from September 6 to 17, 2008.
