Bender (rapper)
Alexander Buchanan (July 19, 1980 – March 1, 2018), better known by his stage name Bender, was a Canadian rapper. He was a member of the group Flight Distance and a former King of the Dot champion. Bender was also a professional visual artist. Bender died on March 1, 2018, aged 37, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. No cause of death has been released, but an article has reported that he may have died from sleep apnea. Choclair
Kareem Blake (born March 27, 1975), better known by his stage name Choclair, is a Canadian rapper. He was one of the most successful Canadian rappers in Canada in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Choclair has been nominated for six Juno Awards, winning four. Career Blake, of Jamaican descent, was born in Scarborough, Ontario, in east Toronto. Starting at the age of 11, he followed in his older brother's footsteps, and decided to become a rapper. Blake attended St. John Paul II Catholic Secondary School, which is when he first started performing under the name "Choclair". In 1995, he released his debut single, "Twenty One Years", on his own independent label, Knee Deep Records. Checkmate is a Canadian rapper from Vancouver,"Checkmate: Welcome to the Game". ''Saskatoon Star-Phoenix'', December 20, 2001. best known as one of the collaborating artists on Rascalz' influential 1998 single "Northern Touch". He was also a Juno Award nominee for Rap Recording of the Year for his single "R.A.W." at the Juno Awards of 2003. History Checkmate recorded over 200 underground tracks before appearing on "Northern Touch", including the singles "Signs of War", "The Longshot" and "Bait & Switch (Money & Music)". Don Cash
Don Cash (born April 6, 1978 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian rap artist and record producer. In 2001, after several years working as a teenage pop journalist in Toronto, Cash decided to focus on writing and producing songs at home on his computer, releasing at least ten known full-length CD-R albums in downtown Toronto and New York City. Though distribution was unofficial and limited, news of the works by the young artist spread. By 2004, Cash had been featured in ''The Fader'' magazine and had gained high-profile friends and admirers in the avant-garde pop music scene including James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem and DFA Records. Roland "Rollie" Pemberton, better known by his stage name Cadence Weapon, is a Canadian-American rapper based in Toronto, Ontario. Cory Bowles (born August 27, 1973) is a Canadian actor, director and choreographer. He is best known for his portrayal of Cory in the series ''Trailer Park Boys''.
