Bruce Irving Rankin, (1918 – July 28, 1986) was a Canadian diplomat. Background Born in Brandon, Manitoba, Rankin was raised in Saskatchewan and received a B.Com. degree from the University of Alberta in 1941 and studied at the National Defence College in Kingston. Rankin received an honorary degree from the University of Alberta in 1983. After his retirement he lived in Aurora, Ontario. He had a wife, Mona and three daughters. Ross Campbell, OC, DSC (November 4, 1918 – August 15, 2007) was a Canadian lawyer, soldier and diplomat Campbell held diplomatic posts throughout the world including Norway, Denmark, and Turkey, and served as Canada's Ambassador to Yugoslavia, Algeria, Korea, and Japan. James Cleland "Bubs" Britton (April 24, 1903 – March 30, 1984) was a Canadian diplomat and sportsman. He was appointed Chargé d'affaires to Japan, then Ambassador to Italy, and then Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Thailand. Biography Britton was born in York, Ontario, in 1903 and was educated at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario where he played both football and ice hockey on the school teams. In the early 1930s Britton also played ice hockey in the Ottawa City Hockey League for the Ottawa Shamrocks and the Ottawa Rideaus. During the 1936–1937 season Britton worked as an assistant trade commissioner in Johannesburg, South Africa where he helped organize the South African Ice Hockey Association (SAIHA). Thomas Clayton Davis
Thomas Clayton Davis (September 6, 1889 – January 21, 1960) was a lawyer, judge, diplomat and political figure in Saskatchewan. He represented Prince Albert in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan from 1925 to 1939 as a Liberal. He was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan (then a district of the Northwest Territories), the son of Thomas Osborne Davis, and was educated there and at St. John's College and Osgoode Hall. Davis then practised law in Prince Albert and later served two terms as alderman for the city; he was mayor from 1921 to 1924. Davis served in the provincial cabinet as Minister of Municipal Affairs and as Attorney General.
