A junior-lightweight title was sanctioned by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) from 1968 to 1969. A title at the weight was reintroduced in 1986, now renamed the super-featherweight title. A champion may retire or voluntarily relinquish the title in order to fight for a higher-ranked championship. Alex Arthur, (born 26 June 1978) is a Scottish former professional boxer and political candidate for the Alba Party. Competing from 2000 to 2012, he held the WBO and WBO interim super featherweight titles in 2007. At regional level, he held the British super featherweight title twice between 2002 and 2006, and the Commonwealth and EBU European super featherweight title from 2005 to 2006. Anthony Cacace (born 2 February 1989) is an Irish professional boxer. He has held the British super-featherweight title since 2019 and the IBO super-featherweight title since 2022. Professional career Cacace made his professional debut on 25 February 2012, scoring a first-round technical knockout (TKO) victory over Ben Wager at the Emerald Roadhouse in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
