On July 13, 2016, Netflix renewed ''Bloodline'' for a 10-episode third season, later confirmed to be the final season. The third and final season was released on May 26, 2017. Franklin is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley, and continued his education at the AFI Conservatory, where he graduated with an M.F.A. degree in directing in 1986.
