Big Ten Conference
The Big Ten Conference (stylized B1G, formerly the Western Conference and the Big Nine Conference) is the oldest Division I collegiate athletic conference in the United States. Founded as the Intercollegiate Conference of Faculty Representatives in 1896, it predates the founding of its regulating organization, the NCAA. It is based in the Chicago area in Rosemont, Illinois. However, the postseason tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In February, seven members that had previously announced their withdrawal from the WCHA following the 2020–21 season announced that they were reforming the Central Collegiate Hockey Association, and that the new conference would begin play with the 2021–22 season. Steve Rohlik
Steve Rohlik () is an American ice hockey head coach and former player. In April 2013 he became head coach in charge of the men's program at Ohio State. Career Rohlik got his start at the college level as a player for Wisconsin in the late '80's. He spent four years playing for the Badgers, spending two campaigns as team captain and winning a national title in his senior season. After graduating with a degree in Communications/Journalism Rohlik became an assistant for his alma mater for a year before pursuing an abbreviated professional career with the Knoxville Cherokees. During that year he also served as an assistant with Stillwater Area High School but left to become the head coach for the Hill-Murray School, a secondary school near his home town. Anthony Lewis Granato (born July 25, 1964) is an American former professional ice hockey left winger and current head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers men's ice hockey team. He served as head coach of the United States men's national ice hockey team at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Previously, he also served as head coach of the National Hockey League (NHL)'s Colorado Avalanche, as well as with the Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins as an assistant coach.
