'' Beyond Words'' () is a Malaysian television drama series produced by Mediacorp Studios Malaysia in 2015. It revolves around the life of a white collar worker, whose plan to retire in his early 50s gets thwarted when a series of family problems crop up: his daughter-in-law gets in trouble with the law, he uses his savings to bail her out of trouble and his younger sister sacrifices her personal savings to tide the family through its financial woes. He has no choice but to return to the workforce and lands a job in the hotel business where he enjoys a career reboot. But things go awry when he ends up falling for his public relations officer colleague. The series began airing on Mediacorp Channel 8 on 17 March 2016 with 30 episodes. ''Beyond Words'' (Chinese: 爱要怎么说) is a Malaysian television broadcasting produced by Mediacorp Channel 8, produced by Mediacorp Studios Malaysia. The show aired at 9pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8am the following day. This drama stars Terence Cao, Pierre Png, Tong Bing Yu, Paige Chua, Zhang Yaodong, Shane Pow and Jayley Woo as the casts of this series. The drama will be re-aired again, on 12 January 2019 at 4:30pm. Plot 50-year-old Liang Le Kun (Terence Cao) decides to retire as he has sufficient savings and his only son Liang Yong Xi (Shane Pow) has grown up. His younger sister Liang Le Ning (Tong Bing Yu) considers studying overseas. With his early retirement, Le Kun decides to revisit Sabah with his wife. During their trip, they ruined Xu Wen Jie’s (Pierre Png) plans by accident, causing Wen Jie to miss the chance to meet his dream girl. Mediacorp Channel 8
Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel, airing in Mandarin Chinese. It was created by Mediacorp, Television Singapura on 31 August 1963 with experimental broadcasts, before going official on 23 November that year. The channel's logo is a yellow number 8 on top of a red disc. History Channel 8 began its test transmissions on Saturday, 31 August 1963, Malaysia's national day. Its first day consisted of a Hokkien film, repeats of India's participation in the South East Asian Cultural Festival and Singapore Celebrates. A second test transmission took place between 16 and 20 September of that year and devoted much of its time to the week-long celebrations, to coincide with the historic Proclamation of Malaysia, and the political campaigns leading up to the 1963 Singaporean general election, 1963 General Election.
