This is a list of characters in the American remake version of the supernatural drama-comedy television series ''Being Human'' based on the British hit series of the same name. The series stars Sam Witwer, Sam Huntington, and Meaghan Rath as three characters in their twenties sharing a house in Boston, trying to live a normal social life, despite being a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost, respectively. Main characters Aidan Waite Aidan Waite (Sam Witwer) is the American counterpart of Mitchell from the original British series, named after the actor who played Mitchell in the original series. He is a quiet, calm, soft-spoken, and somewhat jaded vampire who is 257 years old, having been sired by Bishop during the American Revolution. ''Being Human'' is a supernatural drama television series, based on the BBC series of the same name. It followed the same premise as the original, and starred Sam Huntington, Sam Witwer and Meaghan Rath as a werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost, respectively, who live together as roommates. The show aired its first episode on January 17, 2011. It came to a close on April 7, 2014. Plot Three roommates seemingly in their twenties each try to keep a secret from the rest of the world. Aidan (Sam Witwer) is a 200-year-old vampire, Josh (Sam Huntington) is a werewolf, and Sally (Meaghan Rath) is a ghost. The three try to help one another navigate the complexities of living double lives while trying to figure out their own at the same time. George Sands is a fictional werewolf in the comedy-drama television series ''Being Human'', portrayed by Russell Tovey. The male lead for the duration of the show's first three series appeared in 24 episodes of the drama, as well as in three Being Human novels. Rhiannon is a major figure in the Mabinogi, the medieval Welsh story collection. She appears mainly in the First Branch of the Mabinogi, and again in the Third Branch. She is a strong-minded Otherworld woman, who chooses Pwyll, prince of Dyfed (west Wales), as her consort, in preference to another man to whom she has already been betrothed.
