2011–12 Azerbaijan Premier League
The 2011–12 Azerbaijan Premier League (known as the Unibank Premyer Liqası for sponsorship reasons) was the twentieth season of the Premier League since its establishment in 1992. Neftchi Baku was the defending champions, having won their second Azerbaijani championship the previous season. A total of twelve teams participated in the league, the ten sides remaining of the 2010–11 season, one promoted club from the 2010–11 Azerbaijan First Division and a totally new club instead of defunct First Division champions FC Absheron. The format of the league was same as 2010–11 season. There is only one change in season's regulation as only champion of 2011–12 Azerbaijan First Division was directly promoted, while runners up of first division played play-off game with the team that finished 11th in Azerbaijan Premier League. FC Kəpəz
Kapaz PFK ( az, Kəpəz Peşəkar Futbol Klubu, ), is an Azerbaijani football club based in Ganja, which competes in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the highest tier of Azerbaijan football. The club was founded as Toxucu in 1959. They have won the Azerbaijani Championship 3 times and the Azerbaijani Football Cup 4 times. The team's colours are yellow and blue. The club plays at Ganja City Stadium which has a capacity of 26,120. History Soviet era (1959–1991) Kapaz PFC was founded in 1959 as ''Toxucu'' and played in the Soviet First League. FK Banga Gargždai
FK Banga Gargždai is a Lithuanian football club from the city of Gargždai. History FK Banga was founded in 1966. During the period from 1966 to 1990, the club was in the Soviet Lithuanian football championship. From 1990, they played in the Lithuanian championship. From 1994 to 2001, they were in the top tier. After the 2001 A Lyga, they were relegated to the I Lyga. The team earned promotion to the A Lyga, Lithuania's top football division, for the 2009 season after FBK Kaunas and Atlantas Klaipėda voluntarily withdrew their participation. Banga were also members of the A Lyga from 1994 to 2000. In the 2019 LFF I Lyga, FK Banga finished in second position and played in the relegation/promotion match with FK Palanga. FK Liepājas Metalurgs
FK Liepājas Metalurgs ( lv, Futbola klubs "Liepājas metalurgs") was a Latvian football club in the city of Liepāja and playing in the Virslīga. They played at the Daugava Stadium (capacity 5,083). In 2005 Liepājas Metalurgs became the first team other than Skonto Riga to win the Virslīga since the league restarted in 1991. Ritus Krjauklis
Ritus Krjauklis (born 23 April 1986) is a Latvian footballer who currently plays for Latvian Higher League club Daugavpils as a centre back. Club career As a child and teenager, Ritus Krjauklis played for his local club FK Ilūkste under coach Vladimirs Vinokurovs from 1993 till 2002. In 2002, he moved to Daugavpils and continued playing for Dinaburg Daugavpils youth team. In 2005 Krjauklis was taken to the first team by Tamaz Pertia. In 2006 Krjauklis was signed by FK Ventspils but he couldn't prove his abilities there so he had to move back to Daugavpils just one year later. He spent the next 3 seasons there, from 2007 to 2009 respectively, and managed to become a vital player at the club, playing 77 matches and scoring 6 goals during those 3 seasons. Gennadiy Petrovich Bliznyuk ( be, Генадзь Блізьнюк, ''Henadz Bliznyuk'', russian: Геннадий Близнюк; born 30 July 1980) is a Belarusian football coach and former player. A former forward, he played in his native Belarus, in Russia, in Germany and Azerbaijan. Club career Bliznyuk began his career at Energiya Zhlobin in 1996. In 2004, he joined Russian club Sokol Saratov, and in summer 2005 returned to Belarus and signed a contract with BATE Borisov. Bliznyuk was a starter for BATE Borisov during their successful 2008–09 UEFA Champions League campaign. He scored several important goals in qualifying rounds, helping BATE to qualify to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history. Enyo Krastovchev ( bg, Еньо Кръстовчев; born 7 February 1984) is a retired Bulgarian footballer who played as a striker. Career Marek Dupnitsa Krastovchev was raised in Marek Dupnitsa's youth teams. He made his official debut in A PFG at the age of 18 in 2002. In July 2006 Krastovchev was training with Litex Lovech, but then he decided to return to Dupnitsa. Fudbalski klub Zemun (Serbian Cyrillic: Фудбалски клуб Земун) is a Serbian professional football club based in Zemun, Belgrade, that competes in the Serbian League Belgrade. Mirko Bunjevčević (; born February 5, 1978) is former Serbian football defender, currently coach in Red Star youth academy. Football Club Kamza was a football club based in Kamëz, Albania. Founded on 10 September, the club has competed in the lower levels of Albanian football for much of its history, except for the 2011–12 season where they were promoted to the Kategoria Superiore for the first time but they were relegated in their debut season and have competed in the First Division since.
