Argentina

Carlos Rinaldi (February 5, 1915 – 1995 in Buenos Aires) was an Argentina, Argentine film director, film editor and screenwriter. Rinaldi began as a film editor in 1937 but in 1949 he became a film director and directed some 30 pictures working on films such as ''Besos perdidos''. As a director he directed films such as Andrea (1973 film), Andrea and Adiós, Alejandra, Andrea in 1973. He was involved in over 60 films in the Cinema of Argentina between 1937 and 1978. Mario Caldato Jr. (born February 24, 1961), also known as Mario C., is a Brazilian-born record producer and studio engineer best known for his work with Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson in the US, Marcelo D2 and Seu Jorge in Brazil. Early life Caldato was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil. When he was two years old, his family moved to Los Angeles. Caldato began playing keyboards as a youth and took classical music lessons. Career In 1986, Caldato met DJ Matt Dike at Los Angeles nightclub Power Tools. At Dike's request, Caldato built a recording studio in Dike's apartment, where he engineered and co-produced Tone Loc and Young MC's hit singles and albums. In 1988, Caldato began his long-term professional association with Beastie Boys when he engineered their second album, ''Paul's Boutique''. Leopoldo Torres Ríos
Leopoldo Torres Ríos (27 December 1899 – 10 April 1960) was an Argentine film director and screenwriter. His brother Carlos Torres Ríos was a notable cinematographer. His son was the film director and screenwriter Leopoldo Torre Nilsson. Rios initially solely began as a screenwriter, writing for his first film '' Palomas rubias'' in 1920 but by 1923 he began simultaneously directing and writing for his films, producing over 40 films between the early 1920s and 1959 when he was taken ill with lung cancer. He died on 10 April 1960, aged 60, in his native Buenos Aires.
