The Conference USA Men's Soccer All-Conference Team is an annual selection of the best overall players in Conference USA during the NCAA Division I men's soccer season. Selections are based on a vote by the head coaches and announced the day prior to the Conference Tournament. Conference USA
Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. History C-USA was founded in 1995 by the merger of the Metro Conference and Great Midwest Conference, two Division I conferences that did not sponsor football. However, the merger did not include either Great Midwest member Dayton or Metro members VCU and Virginia Tech. Since this left an uneven number of schools in the conference, Houston of the dissolving Southwest Conference was extended an invitation and agreed to join following the SWC's disbanding at the end of the 1995–96 academic year. Kyle Venter
Kyle Venter (born March 13, 1991) is an American retired professional soccer player who last played as a defender for the Richmond Kickers in USL League One. Venter is currently an assistant coach for the Florida Gators women's soccer team. Career Early career Venter played college soccer at the University of New Mexico between 2009 and 2013. During his time at college Venter also played for USL PDL club Real Colorado Foxes during their 2012 season. LA Galaxy Venter was selected by LA Galaxy in the second round of the 2014 MLS SuperDraft (23rd overall). Mark Sherrod
Mark Sherrod (born August 13, 1990) is a former American professional soccer player who played as a forward in Major League Soccer. Career Early career Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Sherrod played high-school soccer at Carter High School where he scored 172 goals during his time there with 63 goals coming his final season at the school. It was during that final season that Sherrod also won the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year award. The Memphis Tigers are the Sport, athletic teams that represent the University of Memphis, located in Memphis, Tennessee. UCF Knights Men's Soccer
The UCF Knights men's soccer team represents the University of Central Florida in National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I. As of the next NCAA men's soccer season in 2023, the Knights compete in the Sun Belt Conference (SBC). This coincides with UCF's July 2023 move from the American Athletic Conference (The American), a league in which it has been a member since 2013, to the Big 12 Conference, which sponsors soccer only for women. The SMU Mustangs men's soccer team represents Southern Methodist University in men's college soccer. The team currently competes in The American Athletic Conference. The Mustangs made their most recent appearance in the NCAA National Tournament in 2019, their third consecutive tournament appearance and fourth in five seasons. Antonio "Tony" Rocha (born 21 August 1993) is a professional footballer who currently plays for Orange County SC in the USL Championship. Born in the United States, he represents the Belize national football team. Career College Rocha played college soccer at the University of Tulsa from 2011 to 2014. Bradley Bourgeois (born April 13, 1994) is an American soccer player who plays for FC Tulsa in the USL Championship. Career Amateur Bourgeois played four years of college soccer at the University of Tulsa from 2012 to 2015. He was a four-year letter winner, had seven goals and one assist for 15 points, started all 81 games of his career, was a three-time all-conference performer, and helped lead the team to three conference championships. Michael David Lisch (born August 30, 1990) is an American soccer player. Career College Lisch played college soccer at Wake Forest University between 2009 and 2012. While at Wake Forest, Lisch also spent time playing for USL PDL club Austin Aztex. Akeil Barrett (born 7 July 1992) is a Jamaican footballer. Career College and Youth Barrett began his college soccer career at the University of Akron in 2011, before transferring to the University of Tulsa in 2012.
