Alicante ( ca-valencia, Alacant) is a city and municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is the capital of the province of Alicante and a historic Mediterranean port. The population of the city was 337,482 , the second-largest in the Valencian Community. Nahemah (band)
NahemaH was a Spanish heavy metal band from Alicante, Spain, that was formed in 1997. Since then, they have released four albums. Nahemah released their two final albums via Lifeforce Records. History Nahemah was formed in 1997 in Alicante, Spain. In 1999, their debut album, '' Edens in Communion'', was independently released. In 2001, being signed to Iberian Moon Records, Nahemah released their second album, '' Chrysalis''. The album received positive feedback and was re-released by Concreto Records. Nahemah also were an opening act for bands such as Moonspell and Alastis. During 2003, Nahemah recorded an EP titled ''The Last Human'', which remains unreleased. Following the recording of the unreleased EP, the band had line-up problems. Between 2003 and 2005, the band was putting together their third studio album, ''The Second Philosophy''. Francisco "Kiko" Martínez Sánchez (born 7 March 1986) is a Spanish professional boxer. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the IBF featherweight title from 2021 to 2022, and the IBF super-bantamweight title from 2013 to 2014. At regional level, he held the European super-bantamweight title three times between 2007 and 2013, and the European featherweight title in 2018. Miguel Hernández
Miguel Hernández Gilabert (30 October 1910 – 28 March 1942 ) was a 20th-century Spanish-language poet and playwright associated with the Generation of '27 and the Generation of '36 movements. Born and raised in a family of low resources, he was self-taught in what refers to literature, and struggled against an unfavourable environment to build up his intellectual education, such as a father who physically abused him for spending time with books instead of working, and who took him out of school as soon as he finished his primary education. At school, he became a friend of Ramón Sijé, a well-educated boy who lent and recommended books to Hernández, and whose death would inspire his most famous poem, ''Elegy''. Francisco Joaquín Pérez Rufete (born 20 November 1976) is a Spanish former footballer, and a manager. He played predominantly as a right winger with good dribbling ability, also being a player with a good workrate. During his professional career he played with seven clubs, including Barcelona (one game) and Valencia (two La Liga titles). Pedro Ferrándiz
Pedro Ferrándiz González (20 November 1928 – 7 July 2022) was a Spanish basketball coach. He is most famous for coaching Real Madrid basketball club in the 1960s and 1970s. The International Olympic Committee awarded him the Olympic Order in 1977. Ferrándiz was born in Alicante. He was made an inductee of the Basketball Hall of Fame in April 2007. In 2008, he was named one of the 50 Greatest EuroLeague Contributors. He was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2009. Coaching career Ferrándiz holds a record 12 titles in the Spanish League, 4 titles in the FIBA European Champions Cup (now called EuroLeague) and 11 titles in the Spanish King's Cup.
