''TekWar'' is a television series, based on the ''TekWar'' novels ghost-written by Ron Goulart from outlines by William Shatner and developed for television by Stephen Roloff. The series follows Jake Cardigan (played by Greg Evigan), a former police officer turned private investigator working for Cosmos, a private security firm owned and operated by Walter Bascom. The series was broadcast in Canada on CTV and in the United States on USA Network and the Sci Fi Channel. The series, which was a co-production between Atlantis Films and Universal Television premiered on January 17, 1994 and ended on February 9, 1996. Chris Haddock
Chris Haddock is a Canadian screenwriter, producer and director best known as the creator and showrunner of the CBC Television series ''Da Vinci's Inquest'', ''Da Vinci's City Hall'', ''Intelligence'' and ''The Romeo Section''. He has won 14 Gemini Awards as a writer, producer and/or director and received another 15 nominations - most of them for ''Da Vinci's Inquest''. Career Haddock began as a street performer, but he later focused his creative energies into screenwriting for television. One of his earliest efforts in writing was for the popular series, ''MacGyver'', where he also served as the Story Editor and Executive Story Editor. He founded Haddock Entertainment in 1997. Born in Manitoba, Eastman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba in 1971. Hans Anthony Beimler (born July 10, 1953) is a Mexican-born American television writer and producer, known for his work on ''Star Trek: Deep Space Nine''. He has collaborated frequently with producer Richard Manning. Early life Beimler was born in Mexico City, Mexico. His father, a German immigrant, was a commercial director and cameraman and his mother, an American, was an author and painter. He is the grandson of the historical political figure Hans Beimler. He attended the University of Southern California, graduating in 1977 with a degree in film production.
